UU: Sensodyne Pronamel toothpaste? WIBA? Yup, no choice, alas. Am on last tube in stash. Thank God for Sainsbury's special offer this week. :D

Also, am SO near the end to the large S&G Clean On Me that I can smell it - there can only be a wash or two left. :j Will be delighted when it has gone - it smells nice, but that's just too much lasting too long for one girl to cope with!

Hi all. Thank Crunchie it's Friday eh? Another UU to report:-

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser WNBA. Was the freebie from Glamour mag. I think someone mentioned that the formula has changed. It definitely felt different to my previous experience of it! If I applied too much it was like an oil slick - if I applied too little it did nothing. Ended up supplementing it with TBS Natrulift serum and it then felt lovely. Have now opened a tub of No 7 Night Cream from my stash.

Emma ran out of C&P this week and I've bought her the Superdrug copy to try. I'm going to use this when I finish my TBS Aloe cleanser which I am loving. The only problem is the packaging. It's in a bottle so there's no way to control how much comes out each time. Was in TBS yesterday (recce purposes only!) and suggested to the SA that the put a pump on it to make application easier. Saw the lovely new hand washes and creams.

Has anyone else used the Superdrug hot cloth cleanser yet?
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    Hello ladies,

Belated thanks for the pics Kaz!

Sarah*a - that BS link is very tempting.....;)

    I have the following UU:
Liz Earle skin repair light travel size. Am still working my way through the full size one so WNBA at the moment.
My C&P is also on its last legs, might UU that tonight.

INs, as a result of another trip to Germany:
Liquid soap, honey - only bars of soap in my stash & like to have some liquid soap as a change, so am counting this as a necessary in.
Garnier Movida hairdye. It was pretty cheap at about 2.50E so I thought I'd try it.

    Have a good Friday

  • Happy Friday all! :j Am sooooo glad it's nearly the weekend!

Right, on with business - UU to report:
Elemis Skin Buff mini - WIBA - probably not due to it being stupidly expensive when I can buy bicarb of soda for 89p to use as a quick scrub which does the job. It did feel/smell nice though so I may see if I can sweet talk the counter ladies to throw a few more free samples my way in the future!

Boots Extracts Vanilla Body Butter - WIBA - DEFINITELY! I have 3 more in the stash though (technically more as I seem to remember splitting one tub between the other new ones and properly filling them up in an attempt to get rid of pots to save space!) This is gorgeous, just the right Vanilla smell for me, I love it to the point where when in Boots I will search it out just to stand and smell it for a while. The shop assistants probably think I'm nuts. :rotfl:

Boots wash off cleanser trial - WIBA - can't as I don't know what it was, but wasn't impressed with it and threw the remainder out. I'm not going to use it and have more than enough other cleansers to be getting on with. I would have offered it to someone else but it leaked in the post on it's way to me so would be wary of posting to someone else. :(

Nivea Pearl roll on deodorant - WIBA - if on offer maybe. It was ok, nothing special but did the job. Although I'm not a huge fan of roll-ons due to the amount of drying time!

And a couple of Ins to report - but no money spent as they were both late birthday gifts from friends!
Body Shop Coconut gift bag - scrub, butter and shower cream.
Tresemme 24 hour body shampoo and conditioner, in a set with a fancy new hairdryer which is fab as I needed a good new hairdryer, so looking forward to trying it out this weekend! :D

On a personal note - started flat hunting with OH yesterday. Saw typical flats for London - tiny, pokey, and generally quite dingy for the stunning bargain price of - £350 per week on average. (1 - 2 beds). It's times like these I remember why living in London is a pain. But befriended the estate agent of the nicest flat who is now on side to find us something good. Turns out there are nice, cheapish (for London anyway) 2 bed flats out there but you need to be best buds with the agencies so they call you before it's even advertised! My favourite moment of last night - being told by an agent that the thick black mould covering nearly an entire wall of the bathroom wasn't a problem. Hmmm... I think we'll keep looking thanks!

  • An IN to report.
Bought a tube of the new Garnier BB cream from morrisons yesterday.
It's been in all the beauty mags-apparently its a moisturiser, primer, wrinkle filler, tinited moisturiser all in one. Bought it in light but looks a little dark on my hand. We'll give it a whirl and see how i get on with it.

Hello ladies. I'm quite busy recently, so don't have time to catch up with the thread. Just keeping track of my UU's here:
    1. Clinique High Impact mascara travel size. WIBA: Maybe, I liked it more when the formula dried out a bit, at the start too much was coming out of the tube, clumping my lashes.
    2. Salcura gentle spray. WNBA: I prefer a cream, the spray doesn't feel as moisturizing as it sinks in too instantly.
    3. Avene Hydrance Legere. WNBA: It's not as good as I hoped, for the price. I will try the SPF version once I uu'd all my moisturizers.

I opened Clinique High Lenghts mascara, and my first impression is very good - I was worried that it won't work after reading the reviews. It gave a light coating but separated the lashes beautifully. Very natural. I'm not sure if I'm in love with it yet, might be too little volume for me.
  • Nothing to report on the UU front, but I do have two INS - the hair colour, which was needed, and will be used, and only cost me £1.50, and a rather beautiful nail varnish in "Sequinned Turquoise" which was a freebie with my Avon order this time round. (Thanks to two customers both ordering one item from a "buy 2 products and get XX free" promotion.) There was also a black makeup bag, lipstick & mini face cream with that but I've put those into the customer freebie stash. So nothing to declare in respect of my "unnecessary spends" date below. Can't believe I've gone this long!

I hopefully have this nail varnish coming to me next week thanks to my mum!! She is getting the free gift with her order but said she wouldn't wear that colour so I could have it. I will definitely wear the turquoise colour, it looked lovely :j

One UU for me, H&S Classic Clean shampoo, WBA because I think it leaves my hair nice and clean. I have 4 shampoos open at the moment though so am going to try to finish a couple of them first.

    Have a nice weekend ladies!

  • Hello all,
My glossybox arrived today!! Very pleased with it - I got:
    HD brows set
    Dead sea salt scrub
    Mary Greenwell perfume sample
    Moa green balm
Neal and Wolf full-size hair treatment

I couldn't resist looking on the blogs earlier this week to see what other people got, and I think I did well. Some people only got sachets of hair oil instead of the full size intensive conditioner. I would have preferred the Strivectin moisturiser to the Moa balm, but the balm seems nice anyway. :)
