No to buying unnecessary toiletries in September!

No further uu to declare but some ins:

Burberry weekend edt, 1/2 price at Boots at the moment, also No7 lash adapt mascara and free eyeshadow pallette, £7.50 using a goldie. September is not turning into a good month so far. Off to the naughty step.

forgot somethingok so I wimped out of the fish pedicure as an old bloke walking by was going on to his wife about the fish being pihrahhnas!!!(spelt wrong but you know what I mean!)
the laura mercier foundation sample was not in stock yet so no luck there
I did buy some Christmas pressies for Dh plus a foot cream for me in occitane so got a free shower gel(plus a card with 3 free immortalle cream samples on that beauty bible say is a miracle cream for anti ageing) and in Boots I bought shampoo to use at the pool plus conditioner on a buy 2 get 1 free plus a 25% off conditioner so got the £5 boots no7 coupon and got dollar nail polish (dark metalic green) for £2 and then thinking aloud said to SA I should have done 2 shops to get another £5 coupon and she gave me one so I bought another nail polish hot to trot(bronzy gold)so as Dh is away again tonight will do a pedicure:)
had to get myself a treat as no luck with winter shops for my big fat feet:(:(:(did find some that were good on my smaller foot but if I get them to fit the big foot that has been operated on then even with an insole the other shoe falls off,hence me living in sandals or boots :(:(....strangely dance shoes fit fine!!!

My nephew by marriage has just sent through piccies of my very new great-niece, Eloise, a new sister for Elin,15 mos, and James, 11 next month. :j

On topic, I UU'ed the 40ml conditioner that came with my L'Oreal Sublime hair colour. This was gorgeous, thick stuff that lasted ages, I think about 4 ml did me each time.

WIBA ? Most manufacturers now do make the colourant conditioners available. I'd like to know what this one is. There again, I don't need it - I have an untouched Elvive and 7/8ths of an Aqua Light still to use.

Sorry for your loss EssexHebridean, and sorry to hear about Red's foal Trudij very sad.

One UU for me today: Charles Worthington Moisture Seal shampoo (one of my donations from last month ) WIBA? No, I don't think so, it's rather expensive and I think it made my hair greasy, but I'm grateful to my friend for giving it to me to try!!

One IN unfortunately Dove Visible Care Softening body wash from £land. OH liked this when I first bought it on offer, so I thought i'd get it to share when I saw it at such a reasonable price! (One time in MrT's he tried to slip it into the trolley at £2.xx nooooooooo I think not!)

My bar of soap at the sink is on its last legs, and I had to decant my foundation into a little pot today, was sick of it spluttering all over me, got a fair bit out, may last another couple of weeks! Very :money:

Edit: 22:30 soap has now disappeared from the sink, I fear the slither has fallen down the plug hole. So another UU for me tonight.
I've now put out a lovely olive oil soap with jasmine.

We've had mixed news here today - two of our friends have (after 48 hours of labour :eek:) just had their first baby :j a cute little boy and we've just heard that another friend lost her husband about a month ago. So tragic - he was so young and they had only been married 3 years and have a 1 year old. My heart just hurts for them

On the toiletries front - I'm very proud as I have bought nothing :beer: I do have a full-size Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2-in-1 Foundation and Serum but that was free and I have a small Avon order coming today or tomorrow but thats mainly bubble bath for OH.

I also have a MIA - presumed stolen by DD :rotfl: My Avon Detangling Spray has gone missing from the bathroom and is nowhere to be found. If it doesn't miraculously reappear this weekend I'll cross it off my list

I still need addresses for anyone who wants me to send them a sample/coupon for the max factor foundation.

how are you finding that maxfactor foundation?

i got one too but it looks rather orange on me and feels heavy as i am used to mineral powder now

oooh so going to submit this as a conversation report lol

2 UU's to report- 50ml Sanctuary body wash- WNBA- was from a gift set from last xmas. Quite a thin texture and highly perfumed.
50ml Elle Mcpherson body wash- WNBA- very runny and didn't lather much.
Aldi body wash almost at an end so think next one will be a palmolive. Have an elemis monoi shower gel but cant bring myself to open it. Seems too luxurious for any everyday shower gel.

I've tried a smear of the 'Natural' colour in the sachets and it's far too orange for me but the 'Light Ivory' in the full size tube is a good match.

All foundation feels odd to me as I wear it quite infrequently
