Does anyone else find that Tresseme shampoo and conditioner (namely the one for coloured hair :o) makes their hair really greasy? Ever since I've been using it my hair has been incredibly greasy and oily on the second day. Whereas with other shampoos and conditioners I can go 2-3 days without it looking like a chip factory.:o

Just a quick check-in: 3 OUTs for me: UU Bastiste dry shampoo (WNBA at the moment, I'm not sure if I'm a dry shampoo fan), GA to sister - Givenchy Ange ou Demon and Nivea lipbalm. My mum is coming on Wednesday, so more GA's to come!
  • Hugs to you Trudi.

LM I find the same with Tresemme so steer clear of it.

UU's Avon professional blemish pads WBA and have done! I have had no breakouts since using these, fab!

UU wait rose essentials plum and mimosa shower gel WBA lovely smell and good lather.

UU Dove Intensive conditioner sample tube - this was a freebie and I didn't find it very intensive.

I wasn't sure if it was just my weird hair or not. :o

It just makes my hair look all flat and greasy.

Now the conundrum is do I finish up what's left of the bottles or do I chuck them?

They're only travel sized bottles but I can't stand my hair looking greasy.

I UU a sachet of Nive lotion this morning. Creamed my feet when I got into bed after a very long, very busy, no sitting down shift. Nice smell, tootsies still feel moisturised now. WIBA?: Still have many (many!) sachets of this stuff in the bowl but possibly. Am very impressed with all of the nivea freebies we were given actually. Also have lots of £1 off vouchers so will be looking to utilise them possibly in conjunction with a Boots Christmas points evening?

Tesco have loads of Nivea stuff at half price at the mo, so with the £1 vouchers you can get a lot of the shower gels etc either for free or literally pennies.

Only skimmed the tail end of the thread so apologies if i'm repeating something that's already been said, but whoever was asking about cotton make up pads, avoid the Primark ones like the plague, they are shockingly bad.

  • I was skimming through the T*sco magazine earlier, and spotted that their Essentials body butter is £1.34 for 200g of mango and nectarine scent. That seems incredibly cheap for T*sco. I have a huge Extra store half a mile away but haven't checked out the body butters in ages as I don't need any. Has anyone tried this stuff?

I forgot to say that I picked up a toiletries travel set, two 100 ml see thru bottles plus 100 ml spray bottle and two wee 10ml pots with two spatulas. This in a sturdy see thru ziplock bag for use in hand luggage. It came with details of the regulations for liquids on planes. It was £1.40 ish in my local Boyes, yet another Boyes bargain for those of us in the North and Lincolnshire.

Oh for goodness sake AF - why didnt you say you wanted a collection of lush soaps - I could have given you LOADS a few months ago !!!!

:rotfl: In fairness it was the soon-to-be-discontinued ones I really wanted - otherwise I'll never get to try them (unthinkable!). ;)

  • One OUT last night - Boots Cucumber Cleansing Wipes. Probably WNBA as whilst they were fairly refreshing they didn't really seem very effective and were more like something you'd use to quickly freshen up rather than for serious make-up removal. I've got some Lush Ultrabland cleanser to finish up so won't be buying any more face wipes for a bit, although they're one of those things I think are useful to have around for late nights or travelling.
