I'm sorry for your OH's loss EH.
Catching up, I returned the rubbish OPI nail varnish remover pen to boots and it was no bother, so I'm pleased with thatI bought my new winter coat yesterday, which is this lovely one - http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Biba+Leopard+fur+coat/148594947,default,pd.html
After I'd used vouchers and it was 20% off yesterday it cost me £80 - result! I also bought a cape which is fab and I love it! My OH put it on and pretended to be a swashbuckler which was well funny! The chaps at work were quietly impressed too. My cape - http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=12556&catalogId=33057&productId=2149735&categoryId=209744&parent_category_rn=208526 - which is ace and has a hood and everythingI'm going to be well stylish this winter, haven't had a new winter coat in about 5 years lol.
Someone mentioned cotton wool pads.... I really rate Lidl's ones, they are about 69p, you get 120 and they are sealed around the edges so they don't fall apart and fluff up etc.
OUT - Umberto Gianni hair serum. Had this for ages and have redescovered a love for serum as I'm currently brushing my curls out so my hair is straight. WNBA though as I don't think this straight hair phase will last long!
One and a half Lush bath bombs - I think they were butterball but I'm not sure. The half was just knocking aound in the box of bath bombs so I thought I'd sling it in too, along with a bit of BS coconut bubble bath. It was quite a treat as I'm usually a shower girl. WBA once i've used up all the ones I have in the stash.
1 x hotel mini lime soap. Was okay for a freebie! Replaced it with one of your standard hotel mini white soaps.
Aveda hand relief mini x 3. Lovely lovely stuffAm now on to my honey hand cream that I bought from the German markets last christmas.
Boots sensitive toothpaste - Nothing special really and it foamed a bit too much for my liking. Replaced with Sensodyne rapid relief which is probably my HG toothpaste.
Boots expert sensitive hydrating eye cream. I've never used eye cream before so have nothing to compare it to but it seemed ok to me!
And the aforementioned OPI nail pen.
IN - All bought with boots points and to replace current splutterers - Umberto giannini scrunching jelly and intensive leave in overnight conditioner (which I use as a styling product!). Garnier Nutritionist eye cream and caffiene eye roll on (the cream for me and the roll on for OH). I used my £5 voucher to get some no7 face wipes making them £2, I don't need more face wipes but these are loooooovely and I got seduced!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend0 -
Forgot to mention when I posted earlier that I have 2 UUs and 2GAs to report:-
UUs:-
Laura Geller Balance N Brighten - my HG foundation. Have another pot already on the go as I was carrying it in my handbag as a spare. That is the last of the stash though so this is on my shopping list for US.
L'Occitane Verbena hand wash - another HG however can't justify buying a bottle now before I go away as it's only going to get used in the kitchen in any case. Have a bottle in the bathroom that is 2/3rds full. Have replaced the kitchen one with a bottle of OS Mint and Tea Tree. It's very drying though. Have had to slather my hands in cream straight after using it.
GAs:-
Boots No. 7 voucher to save me the temptation of going in and trying to find something to buy!!
TBS Rainforest Conditioner. Both Emma and I were just not getting on with this as it was too thick and didn't seem to rinse out properly. Donated it to a friend at work.
Painted my nails yesterday and am now wearing Leighton Denny's Leading Lilac.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Two bits of news tonight - one nice, one not nice.
Nice thing - PLEASE anyone on facebook, will you vote for my friends rabbit>>? Bunny is so gorgeous, and Sarah has had a !!!!! year so far, would be wonderful if she could go top 10... http://apps.facebook.com/supremepetfoods/clickThrough/57413
Not nice thing - Red aborted her foal last night - I found him (obviously she was cooking me exactly what I had told her Id love, it was a colt and he had mottled skin which suggested he was going to be a chestnut roan going grey as he aged....) in the field this morning. Shes ok though very sad - but Ive still got her, and thats WAY more important than anything else. So no fairy godmother positions for you lot next January - but maybe Jan 2013...Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
I know you are going to be swamped with responses on this Troods, having seen the flood of messages on FB ... so it was a colt, oh bless her. Poor Reds, having been a mummy so many times before she would have known exactly what was up. My heart goes out to you both.
My niece is due to be induced this weekend, her husband is on his way home from Afghanistan... having heard awful news, I hope my next news will be better... much much better.
I voted for Bunny. Many years ago one of my best buddies found a huge white rabbit roaming in the road. Bonzo used to love to sprawl in front of the fire in just the same way as Bunny is sprawling. He was a house rabbit long before they were thought of.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Trudi I don't have any words really if I'm honest. I love Red through your updates, and I just don't know what to say. So just the absolutely hugest hugs to you both.No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60
