Sorry to hear your sad news.

Got a tip for anybody cutting tubes open to use up the last bits of product (I'm obsessed with doing this, even with toothpaste, people laugh but I don't care!). Cut the tube an inch before the seal at the top, scoop out the product from the bit you cut off then fit it back over the end of the tube.

I've had a tube of Clinique facial cleansing mousse, which lasts ages anyway, on the go for weeks with this method. Stops the product drying out and going manky.

UUs: Kiehl's intensive hand cream WIBA? Not at the prices they are charging. I don't really see what's so great about Kiehl's to be honest. Better stuff out there for less.

yes this is what I do, lasts much longer than just cutting the top off, and stops it getting all dried out. :p
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Already on the naughty step as I visited LUSH and got a bubble bar and some Karma Cream!

Trying to update my stash list when I get chance.

What is the record for number of items in anyones stash??
  • UU- small bottle of Sanctuary body wash. WIBA?- smells gorgeous and had small little beads in but probably wouldn't buy it. Was in a gift set I received last xmas so a freebie.

Oh smartcat, I had that one too! I UU mine last year early on but it was lovely. Nice and moisturising but I don't know how much it costs as mine too was a gift.

EH, very sorry to hear about your OH's Aunt. I hope he had a relaxing evening at the pub with his friend. I'll spare a thought for those who loved her and will miss her :)

    One IN and one OUT

IN: L'Oreal Studio Hot Curl Spray - I needed a heat protection spray. Read the online reviews now and they aren't as good, so we'll see. Anybody used it?

OUT: a lipstick sample from my friend, I think it was YSL or Lancome, but not sure - staying power's terrible, and there wasn't too much left, so I binned it.

Not sure about total numbers, but I see to recall that one person here started out with somewhere approaching 100 shower gels! I had 9 shampoos and was quite proud of that!

  • Hi all,
One more out for me: Clinique moisture surge 30ml (sample from Glamour a few months back). WIBA? Possibly, it was quite nice and light, I have one Glamour sample left, so not for a long time.

Spluttering: shampoo, foundation (still!) and face wash.

So excited about the photo of the dress and the perfume - thank you both !!! :D:D:D:D

:) Unfortunately I had a bit of a rubbish day at work yesterday (no big dramas to tell, but you know when you have one of 'those' days!) so instead of going home and taking said photos, I went out and ended up splitting a bottle of wine with a friend instead... rather fuzzy headed today!! Photo's tonight instead, promise! :A

I have an IN to report, but it was a needed one so no guilt there - I used the No7 voucher had lying around to buy some eyemakeup remover as their seems to do the job for me and my tons of budgeproof eyeliner/mascara! Only ever buy it with the £5 off vouchers though. I think my current one will be used up by the end of the month and no spares in the stash.

Think I'm going to have a clear out tonight and see if there's anything ebayable/swappable/donatable etc... I'm not sure I could stand moving in with boyf and discovering I have as many boxes of just toiletries as he has of all of his belongings! :rotfl:

    xx

wow, 100 shower gels. Make me feel less guilty. I know I have a serious problem/obsession which I have to deal with!!. Its partly because I have moved house so much in last 2-3 yrs and everything has been boxed up.

My problem is perfume. I have added them all up and have 30 assorted ones...from solid ones (e.g. Lush solid stick ones) through to cheapo ones that I was just trying out....up to my favourite expensive ones...my latest is Jimmy Choo (bought duty free) which is lovely and probably going to be my HG.

    30!!!!!

I hadnt realised I had so many as I have around 10 stashed in or on top of my desk at work and others scattered around the house and in boxes.

    Back to the naughty step........................
