I hate spending money on things like that.
My hoover just died after only couple years, is the one you bought worth the money? I hate buying cheap things that won't last!:mad:Debt: [STRIKE]-£77.299 74,209[/STRIKE]-£72,860 Projected MF date(age):[STRIKE]2044(63)[/STRIKE] 2029(48)

Hi Weronika - I bought a Meile one - for cats and dogs - not the top of the range one but one step down I guess - still very expensive!
Gave it a try last night and nearly sucked up the cat let alone the rug it was sitting on - wow!
So far I'd say yes - its amazing! ( sad that i'm excited about a hoover I know but I get so few new things these days!!)
Black eye is deflating a bit - still looking scarey.
Various bills coming off and salary nearly gone - and its the 1st - gonna be a hard month - again!!!May 2018 - £159k + £3.5K CC - let the countdown begin!

Hopefully your black eye will fade soon - as far as I remember it should turn green and purple next:DDebt: [STRIKE]-£77.299 74,209[/STRIKE]-£72,860 Projected MF date(age):[STRIKE]2044(63)[/STRIKE] 2029(48)

Rant alert!
I am SERIOUSLY FED UP!!!! My insurers got a loss adjustor in for my storm damaged chimney - and he won't pay my quarter share of the emergency works in full - he says they are too high and he'll confirm what he will pay. All other partie's insurers are paying without complaint but mine won't. So I either have to find the difference or fall our with the builder/neighbours.
I don't have any savings really - so I'd need to (temporarily) borrow it from my daughters savings account.
I've no idea how much but on top of bloody tax credit overpayment I wonder why I bother. Its just one thing after another and ITS NOT SODDING FAIR!!!!!
Not happy.May 2018 - £159k + £3.5K CC - let the countdown begin!

Oh i agree that is so damn unfair ds, you always have had bad vibes about that chimney havn't you? How come your neighbours insurers are paying up,its just not right is it? Im hoping that theres somehow a way round all this, you dont deserve any more setbacks0
-
Still fuming. Yes - both neighbours are going to pay up - or rather their insurers are. Mine is just a git.
So - I'm going to complain. the difference is about £320 - so far. I'll not tell the loss adjustor that until he coughs up what I am going to get though because I don't want to make it worse - and he still has to pay for my share of reinstatement works.
One neighbour isn't going to pay until all is resolved so I'll wait too - at least that'll hopefully take me into next month.
Why me eh? keep telling myself - 'its only money' but it takes me a long time to pay £320 off my card - and for some stroppy git to then blow it beacuse he's having a bad day? Not chuffed.......
Still ranting as you can see!May 2018 - £159k + £3.5K CC - let the countdown begin!
March 2019 - CC gone and bye bye M2 on 31st! £140k to go.:j0 -
I'm with you - that is definitely not fair!
