All the tickets turned around at mine today and different ones used to fill space, one on each hook. Either they've cottoned on or the MSES have been in and cleared them out :rotfl:
Oh no! Was hoping to get some more tomorrow! Will give it a go on just 3 and see what happens - even on buy 1 get 2 free it's a bargain0 -

Just to add further to the confusion. I did 4 shops today at 4 different Tescos.
Shop 1 - bought 6 packs of AAA - offer was bog2f
Shop 2 - 3 miles away - bought 12AAA and 6 AA - workedboth offers.
Shop 3 - 2 miles away - bought 18 AA and 18AAA - only bog2f worked.
Shop 4 - 3 miles away from last - bought just 3 AA - only bog2f worked.
Only shop that had limited stock was the store it worked at! These are all within the same postcode district and are a mix of extras and normal.
I have yet to try the local express or Metro. Will let you know.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

how very strange it works in some and not others?
i would of thought all the stores would be uploaded from head office on the same price offers/increases ect at the same time overnight.
unless the above is true, and all stores can amend internally their prices if wrong before 12 midnight when an update can take place from head office again0 -
loving all these tesco glitches, even though i've not taken advantage of them, i think a newbie has been employed at head office!! don't think they'll last long though-shame!0

I recently bought coffee at an Express and returned it to a Metro - the price was lower at the Metro, but they refunded me what I paid. So it seems there is an amount of discretion with regards to pricing and the individual stores. Or maybe just Metro/Expess? That said, not all the offers are always available in all the Extras at the same time either?0

Hurrah. Worked for me yesterday evening at 20:52, 21:09 and 21:28. I bought 6 packs each time. The first time because I bought so much reduced stuff, the bill only came to £2.72 and I'd gone through a manned checkout. I thought the ca was gonna query big time but because she'd scanned the batteries first and we were chatting I think she forgot about them. Then I went back in and bought another 6 packs and some shopping bill was £3.17, final bill was £4.27. The SEL said BOGOF only. Just a normal Tesco- not worth saying which as there aren't many batteries left, well apart from 5 packs, 4 of which I intend to buy on my way home in the morning. If the glitch is still working, they should be free. Also paid cash and didn't use clubcard, (staying under the radar) and also they did not have security tags on. Well done OP, you spotted a cracker.Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.0 -

I chose 6 eightpacks of AA priced at £21. Put them through first on the SS, came up with £14 discount, so running total was £7. Next item was detergent (£1.60), but running total went up to £8.60. Sheepishly told assistant I didn't want the batteries and she cancelled the whole shop so I could start afresh.
Now I'm being told that the further discount is only applied at the end. Where does the OP state this? I've read several accounts of success but nobody has mentioned this!
So, does this account for the reports of some stores complying and others not?
And when exactly is the extra discount applied; when you press 'finish'? when you've swiped your Clubcard? When you are asked to pay?
I've not thanked anyone in this thread (apart from Boba Fettish) as I am so annoyed.0 -

Honey if you can get so annoyed at possibly getting something free maybe you need a little lie down, the OP did state they were new......0
