For Kernel Sanders, Glitches are trial and error sometimes. Their is no point in getting annoyed, because trust me it has happened for us all at some point where we have got caught out and the glitch doesnt go according to plan. It's a learning curve with glitches, and this is how we all learn. The OP shouldnt have to state that the discount comes off at the end as this is something most of us are aware of.So you have learnt now that savings always come off at the end for next time;)

Someone even uploaded a photo of their receipt which clearly showed the discounts in the bottom section of the receipt where the rest of the BOGOF or "2 for £x" comes off.

As previously said always take it to "finish and pay" to see what comes off. You don't even need to have scanned your clubcard (if you plan on using it - I don't for these glitches) as you can scan the clubcard in after this but before you put any money/card in.
I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.

I bought eightpacks of AA priced at £21. Put them through first on the SS, came up with £14 discount, so running total was £7. Next item was detergent (£1.60), but running total went up to £8.60. Sheepishly told assistant I didn't want the batteries and she cancelled the whole shop so I could start afresh.
Now I'm being told that the further discount is only applied at the end. Where does the OP state this? I've read several accounts of success but nobody has mentioned this!
So, does this account for the reports of some stores complying and others not?
And when exactly is the extra discount applied; when you press 'finish'? when you've swiped your Clubcard? When you are asked to pay?

I think you are a very rude person to come on here and write things like that. This forum is full of people who have taken the time to inform others of bargains, they've taken photos, wrote down barcodes. Some people have even took the time to post from the actual Tesco car park so others know whether glitches are working or not.

I've had so many bargains from glitches over the years and most I would never have known about if it wasn't for these guys. And for your information, no the batteries glitch wasn't working for me either but i've had good fun listening to other people's success stories.

I think there are other money saving forums more suited to you. However if you spoke to them like you did us on here, they would soon put you straight!
  • Has anyone tried this in Glasgow today?
  • I would guess that glitch is now over.

Not working in the store I have been using for past 2 days

Thanks OP who posted this in the first place !!!

Why get so bent out of shape it either works or it doesnt its not like you are entitled to it. It didnt work for me all i did was get a refund on the batteries they ended refunding too much in error though :j
  • None in Holyhead store today. Wonder if I can talk hubby into trying Bangor on his way home from work to see if it's still working there.

this is the first glitch I've managed to get working for me, somehow they never work up here in the middle of nowhere, but no point getting angry about it, chill! :D
