tesco,free batteries

I tried my original store again today, the one where I had successfully got both discounts yesterday, and I only got the B1G2F discount (and there was no signage AGAIN on the shelf to indicate ANY kind of offer!)

I bought 6 packs for £7.00, but as I have got loads at home I decided to return them for a refund, saying I had bought the wrong sort. The CS chap put the refund back on my debit card, and it was only when I got back in my car and put my glasses on to check the bill that I realised he had refunded me £21!! How he had managed to do that is beyond me, but I thought well I'm not here to teach Tesco staff to add up, so got a nice little bonus!

Very tempted to try another store tomorrow......

Went into my local Tesco today and got the BOG2F dicount, no extra BOGOF discount was applied......no free batteries for me!!!!!

I do agree with you, the thread I started this morning about the bacardi has already had 66 thanks and nowhere near as many hits as this one so people do know how to do it! So come on, everyone needs to thank the OP:T:T

I think the least we can all do is thank the op....without them kindly posting the glitch then no one would have benefited. :T:T:T I wish I could find a glitch...I keep looking and hoping...the thrill you get when a glitch works for you puts you on such a high...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

now off to thank op, as this is the first time i have logged into the site since i saw this glitch, thanks for the 1000(ish) batterys from all over the south east (pitsea was the best as the batterys are not tagged, where about 2 aisles away from the self scan tills and they where fully stocked)

Didn't work in Sealand Road today, shall take back to another store tomorrow. Did manage to get some on the same day as the origional post though so thank you.
