Tried 2 stores today but it didn't work. Lots of battery returns in the forseeable future!

Ought to still be on Buy One Get Two Free although if the reports of getting full-price refunds on the offer are true, i may have to pop back to my Tesco Extra as i 'definitely bought the wrong kind of batteries guv'nor'

I bought some last night,(Was just checking it wasnt still working!) no SEL, went through as buy one get two free. Is anyone who's taking them back using their receipt, or are you just taking them back without the receipt. I only want to know because I'm keeping all my glitched ones, but want to take back the odd ones I bought last night.

Went to Ts today and batteries were on offer. B2G1F and the same ones next it were B1G2F at £3.50 Mislabelling there!! Didn't try it because I don't need any.

I'm wondering this too as i bought AAA's and don't need them, though I remember the poster saying their credit card was refunded so how they paid may have shown on the receipt I'm guessing lol!

Reporting back. Went to T's and there was a CS lady who is nice and always engages me in chat, but she said the girl next to her would deal with my refund. I did take my receipt with me and she looked at it carefully "were the batteries on 3 for 3?" "no, b1g2free" so I got refunded the £3.50 I paid for free. I handed my receipt over cos I thought they may've only refunded credit as I couldn't have proven I paid cash without it. Thinking about it now, I may have been offered 310.50 cred for 3 packs, tho would have thought it would have come up on till anyway. Still, no worse off tho lol!

Thanks Cath, have'nt taken my back yet, was going to take them back tonight and try out the pyrex glitch but have come down with a sore throat and raging temperature and feel like poop:( so hopefully tomorrow.Saying that I'm sure if a major glitch came along I could be tempted to drag myself out:rotfl:
