BUT I did a 2nd shop

18 x batteries
Smirnoff Vodka

Batteries 2 free = -£42.00
BOGOF = -£31.50
total to pay £6.50

Same store...

RIGHT..... I think the problem is.... all batteries were AA appart from 6 packets of AAA mixed up in the 1st shop..

Could this be it???

To add to the confusion, i bought a split of AA & AAA's earlier in the transction & got all the discounts, so i think if you have at least 1 pack of AA's the double discount wil kick in

Haven't taken advantage of many of these deals before. Just learned today the value of hiding such deals in lots of shopping etc. All had security tags and I went through self-serve. Big mistake as seems they like to press the finish button, and she was surprised the batteries were free and wouldn't let me have them. Lesson for the future

Last time I got hardly anything at a normal till and the guy was like a robot and paid no interest to what the till said, and just asked for an amount of money after scanning.

i've bought mixed aa's and aaa's in several shops and it has still worked

anyone reminiscing the DTD days, I have worn 4 different outfits going into the same store today, think they still recognised me though!!:D I have a memorable face:( and a very unforgettable attitude;)

M'hill still not restocked this morning, didn't hang around as couldn't find any of the other deals there either...someone cleared the shelf yesterday, so must have been working then.
St R*ll*x B1G2F, Stlston B1G2F. Gutted! Spent all day looking for these. Maybe next time!
