Everytime I went through S/S with mine the SA said "would you like me to put 1 through x 12 to save you scanning them all" I said No thanks it's fine I like to scan the myself, they must have thought I was mad. In the end I hid them under my loo rolls so they couldnt see I had lots of the same thing!
I was told by an SS SA that you can't do multiples! There were massive queues for the normal tills so I figured it would probably be quicker to use an SS even though I had 2 boxes of the 18p Heinz meals (12 in total). ASked if they could do a multiple entry and they said no.0 -
Got 6 packs of AA at about 2pm in Swanse@ marina and it worked, had a free lunch and some milky ways (no glitch on these i just like them!)
Couldn't resist popping back in after work just now for some AAA which also worked. There was only 8 packs left so just got 6.
Thanks OP and everyone else who tested and posted their findings!!
Surely they'll fix this soon............. :rotfl:0 -
Got the batteries in Yorkgate about 6.45.0

Went a Tesco Extra and bought 3 packs of AA batteries @ £3.50 each.
Checked receipt and got B1G2F - -£7.00
And B1G1F - -£3.50
So free batteries.
Tried a 'normal' Tesco for AAAs and it just went through at B1G2F.
Thought about getting a refund, but decided that £3.50 for all the batteries was a pretty good deal and I didn't want to draw attention to myself as the same CS staff were on duty as when I benefitted from the Sirloin Steak glitch...
Thanks OP! x0 -
Tried this for the first time at G**d**yes, there were only 5, so tried it with 3 and it worked. I saw a lady looking at the batteries area a while later and asking an SA if there were any more of them in stock, if you were a firend of Martin's,:hello: hopefully they will stock up for you tomorrow, not my local, so won't be visiting there again.0

I hide them under loo rolls as well or mulitipacks of crisps work just as well!
Trick is to get the loo roll first so they can't spot how many are in your basket from the offGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!0 -
Got 12 packs of batteries in Bangor, North Wales, plus box 48 walkers crisps (5p off litre of fuel voucher) and a mutipack of Ribena. Paid a total of 85p!!!
I've never managed to get a single one of these glitches before! I was shaking that the assistant might come over and see me paying 85p for my shopping!!
Thanks guys xxxxx0 -

So is my Tesco the only one who has fixed this glitch this afternoon?
Nope, mine is fixed too. The only trouble is that yesterday when I rushed up at 10am someone had beaten me to it and I didn't get any then either. I feel your pain as I've sat here all afternoon hearing the great stories but havent got one to share back!
There is another store about 30 mins away but its a long way to go and petrol spent if its not working there either.0 -
I didn't try my local as all the SEL had been removed and I didn't fancy paying full price for them, but am happy with my haul 48 packs of batteries :j:j:T. Will keep the kids toys etc going for a wee while!!!:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T
