To whoever posted about asking at the electrical desk when shelves are bare many thanks!
Just been back to my local and shelves empty of aa's , asked at electrical desk and she kindly nipped into the back to get me 12 packs and said she'd stock up the shelf later, also got 12 of the aaa size
Did more free shopping for sister who has lower income than me and have given 2 dozen packs both to my mum and sis. Have to say i have enough batteries now but am just lovin the free shopping you get with it!GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!0 -

So pleased with myself -- I normally am too much of a coward to try glitches---- at least this reply I am typing right "worker" instead of worked :j0

Have I done this right? I went to Tesco and got 3x8 packs of the AA @£3.50 B1G2FREE and 3x8 of the AAA @£3.50 along with some other bits of shopping as I read on here that I'd get back £3.50 off shopping so would need that much in my basket.
Fresh milk x4 @ 49p = £1.96
Braces Bread £1.14x2 = 2 for £2
Ketchup = £1.49
Batteries 6x£3.50 =
Multisavings: Bread 2 for £2 - 28p
Batteries 2 free - £14.00
I didn't know if I could mix n match the sizes to get the deal (tho maybe as the offer was on both I probably could have :doh:) and on reading the new posts in the thread i probably got too much for the deal to work....or have I?Looks like the glitch didn't work in your store, you just got the Buy one get two free offer.
You did right, but it only works randomly!

Thanks Anon. should i have bought more tho to make it work or would it worked the same? If i'm right, its the b1g1free also that I should have had added on if it had worked. I was the blue packs with the barcodes posted and I could only see them in packs of 8. I have too many AAA's which looking at what I need batteries for, I don't think i'll be needing many of these, so toying wether to take back 2 and get 2 AA instead. Oh FYI I used a manned till though thought about asking for help to use the ss tills, but it was busy in there and I just wanted to get out lol!0 -

aww ty.... im over in a few weeks so looking forward to having a nose around....0 -
People have reported it working with only three packs, so buying more wouldn't affect it working or not. It either works in your store or not.

Thanks I just wondered if I should have doubled it to 12 as some have.0

Just worked in one of my local stores, 42 packs of batteries worth £147 minus £171.50 discount equals £24.50 of free stuff :-)0
