Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Have I done this right? I went to Tesco and got 3x8 packs of the AA @£3.50 B1G2FREE and 3x8 of the AAA @£3.50 along with some other bits of shopping as I read on here that I'd get back £3.50 off shopping so would need that much in my basket.

    Fresh milk x4 @ 49p = £1.96
    Braces Bread £1.14x2 = 2 for £2
    Ketchup = £1.49

    Batteries 6x£3.50 =

    Multisavings: Bread 2 for £2 - 28p
    Batteries 2 free - £14.00

I didn't know if I could mix n match the sizes to get the deal (tho maybe as the offer was on both I probably could have ) and on reading the new posts in the thread i probably got too much for the deal to work....or have I?

Looks like the glitch didn't work in your store, you just got the Buy one get two free offer.

You did right, but it only works randomly!

Is it the B1G2F batteries I should be looking for?

This is exactly what I did. SEL shows B1G2F which is what I got, no other glitches. It seems it wouldn't have worked at my store though even if I did buy more. Reason is that if its going to work, it will show three packs as being free whereas mine just gave £7 discount same as you got.

From what I have read of other posts the second discount only shows when you total just before you pay.

HappyChappy some report B1G2F others report B1G1F seems random as to what works but as long as its the tesco extralife packs of 8 AA or AAA in the blue packs thats the right ones. If using the SS till you need to total to see if the second discount is working though. HTH.

Worked in Tesco Ye0vi1 yesterday - we were just passing through! Doesn't work in our local though! :(

Ah ok. The B1G2F offer came off as I scanned them. Never thought to press 'finish & pay' to see what happened.

I did press finish and pay. I actually bought them because its still a good deal. Just the final discount of £7.
  • So am I correct in thinking that if you purchase 6x aaa's you get more off your shopping than 6x aa's? Confused!
I hate twitches, but I LOVE glitches!!!

I'm just wondering, going by some of the posts on here that you should have bought 6 packets for the second offer to kick in.

    Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
I purchased 9 packs of aa this morning and the glitch worked, so went back and got another 12 packs of aa, worked again. Took the kids to the cinema and a bite to eat went back again and all the sels had been removed and the glitch wasnt working, so only got b1g2f.
This was at a tesco extra in the very east of kent.
