Hi all
Thought I'd report back and let you know that the Br*g*ouse store has the AA ones on B1G2F ............BUT I also got 3 packs of the AAA ones that went through at £2.00 each for 8 (should have been £3.50) with no B1G2F, so went to customer services and explained they should be B1G2F but that I had been charged full price and she gave me £4.00 back (£2.00 x 2) overcharge. I then casually asked is DTD still in place ? Oh yes she replied, and promptly gave me another £4.00. So on the AAAs they paid me to take them away, and I got packs of 8 for the price of 4 too ..Result:beer:.
Many thanks to the OP for this fab find0 -
I just got 6 packets they scanned at £3.50 x 3 = £10.50 then took £10.50 off my bill so no free shopping but plenty of free batteries

ok... I did 2 shops...
1st shop
Groceries totalling £148.09
24 pks batteries= £84
But it only took
2 free batteries= -56.00
BOGOF = -£31.50
So these didnt work out either...
BUT I did a 2nd shop
18 x batteries
Smirnoff Vodka
Batteries 2 free = -£42.00
BOGOF = -£31.50
total to pay £6.50
Same store...
RIGHT..... I think the problem is.... all batteries were AA appart from 6 packets of AAA mixed up in the 1st shop..
Could this be it???
Legendmum.. did you buy the AAA or the AA???0 -

Checked receipt and got B1G2F - -£7.00
And B1G1F - -£3.50
So free batteries.
Tried a 'normal' Tesco for AAAs and it just went through at B1G2F.
Thought about getting a refund, but decided that £3.50 for all the batteries was a pretty good deal and I didn't want to draw attention to myself as the same CS staff were on duty as when I benefitted from the Sirloin Steak glitch...
Thanks OP! x
Same result for me too but I'm happy with B1G2F. Still a good deal.0 -

I bought 6 packs of AAA today and 10 bottles of fairy. It didn't work, just got buy one, get two free on the batteries.0 -
Hi, yes it was still working at 4.15. You need to get 6 packets and you get £3.50 off your shop. So if you get 12,£7 off your shop and so on. No way am I confessing to how many I have now though:T:T:T Just about to try the jacques glitch in the expresses as that would appear to be working and waiting with baited breath for more details on the loo roll glitch!
Just to let you know still working nikkilala at about 6pm this evening.0 -
