On holiday from the 'day job' now so putting lots of time into the freelance jobs - 2 out of 3 of them are very nearly done, might have to try and pick another one up this week now!
Only 2 days left until payday and I've got just over £7 in my current account - I haven't been into the overdraft at any point this month, go me!
Will be updating on Wednesday with my new debt figuresI was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0 -
Sounds good. I'm still working out how to make the most of my people per hour profile. I have no portfolio to share with people.DEBT TOTAL: £7609.440

Got my statement through from Santander today and it shows I only have £150.91 outstanding!
Will be ringing them up when I get paid tomorrow to settle it (although the settlement figure will likely be higher than this).
That means I will have £700 'Dad' loan at 0%, £3,491 on CC's at 0% and £9,513 on a loan at 8.8%, not bad at all! Means most of my payments go to clearing the debt and not on interest
Next target will be to clear the CC's at 0% before the 9 month BT deal ends (8 months left) - approximately £436 per month.
Should be doable if I can keep the extra work up.
Can't wait to update my totals tomorrow!I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0 -
Ok, figures are in for this month's payday update!
August balance was: -£17,930.56
September balance was: -£17,615.78
October balance was: -£17,431.53
November balance was: -£15,626.32
December balance is: -£12,408.82
£3,217.50 cleared this month! Although that's mostly due to the Santander refund
Should have completed and received payment for my current 3 jobs before next payday too, so that will be another £1k in the pot.
Really chuffed
Next target is to get under £10k.I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0 -
Paid the final amount of £154.31 to Santander today after ringing them for the final figure - no more 21.08% loan :T
Also rang Halifax for account number & sort code info to overpay the loan. Entered them into online banking and it won't let me add 'Halifax Personal Loans' as a recipient, oh well!
Will ring them again next year or pop in a branch and sort it out. It's not really a problem yet as my next target are the CC's and they should take a while to clear.I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0 -
Well done. What a great Xmas pressie!DEBT TOTAL: £7609.440

Picked up another job yesterday for £600 :j
I'm hoping I can finish these 4 jobs off and get payment for them all before next payday - that would be a decent chunk knocked off the credit cards!I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0 -
Small amount of work expenses came through so paid £13.60 toward the CC debt.
It's coming down, slowly!I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0 -
Calculated my tax savings (for self employed work) and had saved a little bit too much so paid the remainder of £26.20 to the CC debt.I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0

Minimum payment of £34.91 went to the CC today.
Christmas wasn't too expensive and took a few days off doing any other work to relax a bit.
Back onto the work first thing in the morning!I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0
