I liked the pink and grey ones, although colour is not shown very well, my rag wreath is done but need to trim it, think my material was too soft though :/

I have made a few of the rag wreaths including a black and silver one for halloween, I used a small wicker wreath base for one and that worked fine - basically if it isnt in my stash I cannot make it lol. Love the things you have all made, glad I popped on for inspiration :T

    Hello all,

I have been reading this thread and the flyingpig's thread with great interest, which has given me the inspiration to make some of the wire snowflakes!

I m going to try and add a picture now, but this is my first go so it might not work! :oSnowflakes.jpg

Thanks for all the suggestions, I am loving all the fab ideas!

I thought that, but gave the rag wreaths a go, and they are very easy to make and very effective. I've made halloween wreaths, autumn wreaths, all sorts really.

  • Can some one show me a link to the rag wreath rings please, I dont know where to start and google juat laughed at me LOL!!

Me and my little boy have just been to the park and got some pine cones. We have covered them in glitter and a couple with tippex to look like snow :j Our salt dough decoratios have just baked too. Going all out with the home made decorations this year as my son is so creative

Tina - they're lovely - just the sort of thing for foster daughters baby..........she'll be 3 months old and won't know much about it but be nice for her anyway and her mum would be thrilled. Off to see how you make them:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
