  • I buy my supplies from Ebay usually. I found these snowflake wires

I then treaded crystal, pearl and plastic beads onto the wires. Made a loop on the ends and strung onto clear elastic.

Hopefully my friends will like them.

i'll stop now, you get the gist:o

Oooh, I love these! They're about my level, as I can't sew at all.
I might have a go at them.
Just felt and glue, I assume? What kind of glue would work on felt?

    (I am so clueless.)

I used 4,6 and 8mm beads for the snowflakes.
I haven't posted the pictures on my Facebook page yet.... Don't want to scare people with "Festive" stuff too early:D

  • Excuse my thickness lol... how do u make the ends of the wire look all rounded and neat? Is there a special little tool? Or is it just crafty pliers? :o
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

Probably crafty plier things or something, I was gonna use the wrong end of tweezers to twist it round since I don't have any special tools.

  • The wire on these snowflake blanks is very stiff and hard. I bent the wire back over the bead (90 degrees) with flat pliers, then used a set of round nosed pliers to bend the wire round to make a neat loop.

On the instructions it says to glue a small bead to the end, But I wanted to be able to thread some clear thread or ribbon to the snowflake.

  • My girls will love making snowflakes. Unfortunately, they are out of stock. Hopefully they will get some more in.
