I think these are absolutely beautiful and have ordered some wings :A from Ebay. I could do with some help though. I have quite a few crystal chandelier drops which would be perfect for the base but how would I attach them?
Thanks0 -

I depends what sort of hole the chandelier drops have.
A hole top to bottom is the most striaghtforward. You will need a "headpin". You thread the drop bead on to the pin, then the wings, a clear bead for the head...then a "halo" bead (if you can hold of a crystal rondelle).
If the is a hole side to side (or front to back) it gets a bit more complicated.....perhaps other jewellery makers will have more ideas?Slimming world new starter 2/1/17:D:DWeight loss so far 5 stone 8 lbs

Ohhhh a brand new shiny thread. Can i join please?. Midnight i loved your gingerbread adventures last year so can't wait to see more. I am just experimenting with a button and wire decoration which i'll post pics of when its done.
I like decorations being in a seperate thread - I'm a list making kinda girl so i like to seperate topics into sections etc. I think it makes it easier as Christmas as a whole is such a big topic things get lost in the big threads.
Now i'm not sure if this counts as decoration but i have just made a santa stop here door hanger so i'll post it anyway. More pics on my homepage if anyone's interested x x
Hi i love this, could you please tell me how you made it? many thanks0 -

I just wondered if anyone on here could possibly answer my question.
My grandson has just started nursery and they are fundraising. My daughter has asked me if I could make some of my crafty bits, mostly hearts and gingerbread men. Everyone admires them and suggests I sell them but I see them going for a song on Ebay. Anyway, it will be hard work at short notice for November but I am willing to help out.
My question is, where do I stand with safety regulations given that it will probably be mums buying the items. I do not intend them to be toys, purely decoration, but will a notice stating that on the stall be sufficient to enable me to sell them to others?
I hope someone can answer this for me, thanks.0 -
Whitesatin: I'm sure a notice will be fine as long as it's big and colourful and where everyone can see it.Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0

Can I ask how you finish these off? What is on top of the 'halo ' bead? Do you just bend the wire over to form a ring? Many thanks for your help!July Win: Nokia 58000 -

the halo's are diamonte spacer beads, loads on ebay, and yes you turn a circle in top ready to attach thread or ribbon
