Thanks to FCC for the lists and I'm sneaking back in this week. Got rellys coming over from Oz in a few weeks time and plan on putting the flat up for sale once they leave so please feel free to chuck fluffy mules, steel toe-cap boots in my direction0

a lot of the flyladies have long term/forever illnesses and so long as you know your limits and dont go overdoing it trying to keep up (that includes you LW!!) when you know you will suffer tomorrow it is fine.. just take it steady, at your own pace and do what you can.. anything you do you wouldnt normally is a bonus!
Nice to see so many frogs being eaten
I may go tackle a couple myself.. OH has taken Squeak to the park to throw bread at the ducks she fell asleep when he tried yesterday lol.
I have..
Fed Squeak
hung out 3 loads of washing (2 of DS1s!!)
fed the TD
mopped Squeaks spilled cereal/milk
put away 4 piles of washing
Cleaned fat cats ear.. he has been vampired on it so it is rather sore.. but healing nicely
folded 2 loads of dry stuff
hung cardies on airer..
I am now going to do a bit of a fling in my room.. see if I can fill yet another binbag and make room for a chest of drawers!
Not bad considering how much hobbling about I am incapable of! I am absolutely shattered today too, I feel like I have slept in a week.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
:jWoohoo - I have been to Iceland since this mornings post and spent £60(home delivery as no strengh to carry ot all to the car) mind you i did fill the trolley. DD came with me she wanted to get "blue" milk becasue we always have semi skimmed, bless she struggled to put a 4pinter in the trolley but insisted she , not I, do it. She crossed off all she could manage to read from the list too, I am so proud. Must admit to the shame :oof buying loads of ready meals (for linited energy days) - ww for me being 3 stone overwieght, iceland own brands for DH (3 stone underweight) and Chicken nuggets/fish fingers for DD, did by fresh veg and fruit too though.
I have since done 10mins ironing sitting down
and postponed a rare visit from parents while DH and I try to catch up with the garden. He is putting up fence pannels and I am trying to paint them - well one if i can.
Little one wants to chill with some TV. update again later xgetting there slowly

Fibromum-the paper work is horrible. crb check forms to fill in for me and DH, medical Q to be filled in and signed by Dr (which i will be charged for!) and then a whole ton of other forms and questions to be filled in/answered. i keep wondering if it will be worth it!
Hex2- not sure if I love you or hate you...HHC turned into nearly 2hrs while the kids played on the wii fit.
all downstairs hoovered, all pots washed dried and put away, sink and drainer washed, cupboard doors washed, kickboards cleaned, windowsills, radiators, skirting, shelves, fireplace, doors all cleaned/wiped/dusted/polished, kids fed, visit to garden centre and sister now postponed til later.
i'm now looking for a nice onion marmalade recipe to make later, if i still have any energy left!
I thought people were having a nice easy day today, lol. everyone looks to be very busy!freecycler and skip diver extraordinnaire:cool:0 -
Online supermarket shop done. Also ordered 6 pairs of yaktrax at significantly lower prices than expected (1 small, 2 med and 2 large of the walker, plus a pair of pro for me) so that's a whole lot of christmas presents sorted... They frequently run out when the cold weather starts. I have a US colleague who always keeps a spare of each size at home to give to people who need them.
I'm going to see what other online stuff I can achieve, but first I suppose I should have lunch so I can take my iron.0 -
Lisa (no doubt someone with more knowledge will answer later) but get a receipt for the Dr's charge - I'm sure you can allow that against your income (for tax purposes)
break it down then
- do the CRB checks first (also need to be paid for I think)
- do the docs...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
:T Lisakay - at least it is out of the way now. I find it easier knowing thta someone else is suffering and that I 'need' to report back.
I stopped to cook lunch and need to start again if anyone wants to join me
HHC 13.45-14.15 anyone?
Fibromum - I am another one of the strugglers. Quacks can't decide if mine is artritus or fibro, and given that they can't do much either way without me taking pills I haven't bothered going back. I am 30 something, work part time and have young children so it can be very difficult.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Cheers Valli, I will. looking at the info i can also offset a portion of my rent, heating, water, food bill...............I'm pretty sure I'll not be earning enough to pay tax, but will need to take it into account to make doubly sure!:)
Hex2-NOOOOOOO!! thankyou very much, no more for me til later ! good luck and well done on what you got done so far xxfreecycler and skip diver extraordinnaire:cool:0 -
Oooh. Where from? I need to get a couple of pairs for DH and I.
Large ones ae £10 on amazon. Others were from algeos who are a commercial supplier - discounts if you order 12 pairs in any given size! No one selling them for less than RRP appears to have all sizes in stock. They make very good gifts, and sold out as soon as the snowflakes appeared last year... I haven't been checking that frequently, but they don't often appear to be around at discounts. In fact they often sell at a premium.
Lunch eaten. Not sure what to do with the rest of the day. Might go and see my neighbour later as I need some paperwork copied. Also need to decide whether I can mange massage tomorrow or not and text to let her know as it's an 8am appointment.0
