WELCOME FIBROMUM!!
I'm an M.E. sufferer so I feel your pain. Just remember that anything you can do off the lists if a huge achievement and don't beat yourself up when you can't do anything. I struggle to do something everyday and I don't even have kids!
Okay I'm in again this week. I have a list of jobs that never got done from previous weeks so I'm going to see what I can delete off that. I can't manage to get through all the tasks every week so I'm finding it useful to keep the list so I know what hasn't been done recently and can prioritise those jobs.
I'm not having a day off as I'm on my own today and I have more energy than usual so I'm going to make the most of it.
Since 9 this morning I have...- done a bit of general tidying, filing and sorted a drawer
- done all the washing up from the weekend and started on putting it away
- put washing on an d hung it up afterwards. Folded dry washing from the weekend
- Wiped down surfaces in the kitchen
- Scrubbed every little tile in the kichen with a toothbrush (nearly done, it's taking me hours but it's looking very good!)

just delt with an unintentional frog, had a phonecall about my contract upgrade, same deal with mins, texts and internet usage, i keep my phone for another 18 months and they will half the price i pay at the moment. i snapped their hand off at that :money: its saving me almost £200 over the 18 months to keep the same phone so im very happy with that.0

How did you get on LisaKay?
I have emptied and filled the DW, put the washing into the TD, lit the wood burner (it is freezing!), shifted DHs clutter to his craft cupboard, moved some tools upstairs and cleared the cobwebs from the fire place and most of the beams.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Im off for a HHC, going to get some frogs done in the spare room now that ive managed to save some cash0

LW wow. That must shorten your list considerably.:T:T Can't really do any of my Toots list from here but will do what I can starting tomorrow. Need to get plasterer and decorator in asap. Then I can lay decent flooring in the kitchen and put up thermal curtains etc.
aj we moved from a tiny flat into a much larger house, and in the move I found a bag that had not been unpacked from when we moved in 3 years earlier (each from 1 bedroom at university) It was DH's. Needless to say I didn't mention it and contents went quietly into the bin:p Naughty me.
FEEL FREE TO IGNORE MY RAMBLING, THIS IS MORE A POST FOR ME TO GET THINGS STRAIGHT IN MY HEAD AND PUT IT DOWN HERE SO I HAVE TO DO IT!
Most of the stuff we are clueless about is in the garage so at least it isn't taking up too much room. I went back into the small bedroom to deal with a suitcase, it was mainly storing bags which I storing in one of the built in wardrobes at the mo. Eventually I want a home for specific things so at least they are all together until we find somewhere for them. All that is left in that room now is a pile of camping gear (staying here until I have a home for it), cardboard wardrobes from moving which are empty and 1 suitcase. I looked through this the other day and can't remember what was in it but I think I left it to discuss with DH so I will do that tonight and hopefully that room will be as sorted as it can be.
I have just looked in the other 2 rooms that need sorting, the other bedroom has boxed up stuff that I have no specific storage or plan for at the moment so will stay in boxes for now. IF DH helps me put the bed up in there over the next few days then that will kind of be sorted too.
The massive frog area is the dining room which will eventually be our music room. We need to decide what size piano will fit in there before we can do anything else. When we have decided this we can work out if it will just be a music room or if we have room to store other things as well. I am not sure we have any furniture that will work in here yet but all our music is in boxes which is fine for the time being. Once I get the furniture I can unload all the boxes and just need to find a home for the other bits and bobs. Al these boxes are too heavy for me to move on my own at the moment so I need to wait for DH to help. Once we decide what we are doing in that room it will be a lot easier, maybe see if we can look at that tonight and then I can sort some stuff tomorrow. I am off work this week so would like to get as much done as I can before I go back next week.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200
