Hello to the newbies
welcome back neveah
Thanks for the lists and the support.
Lots of long term mess cleared over the last few days, with some serious scrubbing and deep cleaning. I want to continue with this today by sorting out the Snug. This is mostly my room, and it is just stacked up with dust, books and paperwork.
Just need to find a cd and then do a HHC 11.15-11.45 if anyone wants to join me.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

I am in, thanks for the lists and support. I haven't done anything in days so we still have LOTS of things in boxes, the problem is we have unpacked everything we NEED so the rest has been put in the other rooms. My mum mentioned something far too sensible about us maybe no needing the rest...well it would be silly to move into a bigger house and have less stuff than in the smaller one :rotfl:
So I have tried to get my butt in gear and have emptied 3 shoe boxes this morning which actually involved sorting 3 drawers first, I have almost got to the end of sorting 1 of the spare bedrooms. Maybe ask DH to come and look at the rest with me tonight. We currently have 3 rooms and the garage left to sort with the boxes etc. DH sorted the garage on Saturday so we can actually use it, the boxes have been piled to one side so I can get in at some point to empty them. He also vacuumed and dusted the house, he doesn't normally do this but his sister and BIL were coming round yesterday so maybe that was the motivation.
Might try and sort another bag before lunch. I am going for a walk this afternoon and DH is going to pick me up on his way home from work so I am looking forward to getting out and exploring for a bit.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1530/£2700

my other frog is paperwork, to be done when the kids are in bed, so I can get ofsted registered to be a childminder. Important job if I want to get registered by christmas!
This is my biggest frog too, I have been putting it of for 2 years! It stares at me from a giant hold all in my bedroom. I had the excuse that we needed an extn built for a playroom before I start but that is now finished - builders left in June! Ah but fences not completed yet so still no secure boundary - no excuses any more will def get it out when school starts and I have piece and quiet.
I dont know about your registraation requirements but mine ar at least 50 pages!!! I will tackle it one page at a time.
Keep posting !getting there slowly

LW wow. That must shorten your list considerably.:T:T Can't really do any of my Toots list from here but will do what I can starting tomorrow. Need to get plasterer and decorator in asap. Then I can lay decent flooring in the kitchen and put up thermal curtains etc.
aj we moved from a tiny flat into a much larger house, and in the move I found a bag that had not been unpacked from when we moved in 3 years earlier (each from 1 bedroom at university) It was DH's. Needless to say I didn't mention it and contents went quietly into the bin:p Naughty me.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500
