LL congratulations
I'm still around, just bimbling through some stuff until the boys go back to school I guess then comes major upheavel - changing the flooringyes it's going on a CC but I've finally made DP realise that carpet was a bloomin stupid idea downstairs in cream/brownish colour with 2 boys a dog and 3 dirty cars. He's got more marks on it than us. I've cleaned it with a steamer and vac but simply put it stains with even water so it's coming out!!! DP has promised to help fit it, this will no doubt cause arguements. Biggest challenge will be that it's an all in one room (dining, sitting, no rear hall just the back door etc) and we have some massive furniture and a big FF in it. A friend suggested middle out then move things to the middle so think that is what we will do!
Right so I can now formulate a plan for this week around that mammoth task, starting tomorrow I guess .... Off to formulate a planhugs all round xxx
One day I might be more organised...........

Well! I booked DS's 18th birthday thing. He was offered a party - he wanted one here in Vallitowers and I was to 'go out' along with DD and no, they wouldnt damagfe anything.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So that was a NO. Didn't want a room in a pub one either - fair enough - he's going to be one of the first who are 18...
anyway the BIG meal out with family caught his interest and he almost snatched my hane off when I mentioned Thai because of the big Thai restaurant. Wish I'd stayed schtum now, it appears to have closed ANYWAY I phoned the little Thai restaurant and booked it, provisionally for 18...
family (well my side) have been texted. If the other side are coming his dad can pay for them, I said so that's that and they're not (bless him he said it would be 'awkward' - no it wouldn't I'm better than that but exH won't want to stump up so fine; they're out. Plus my mum has offered to help with the cost. Been to pick up a menu and the boss lady came out and the gist of what she said, I think, was that we could have a set banquet - sounds like a plan:cool: I will know cost per head in advance and no-one can scupper me by ordering something hideously expensive. I KNOW 9 people are coming so far and he is asking some of his friends. Back here after for drinks and dessert and cake I think
Why do I wish I'd stayed schtum? Because I like Chinese. Indian's a non-starter with my mum around - she hates it. Thai it is! Cakes are ordered (neice has tea shop she can do 'em) texts have been sent out. texts have come back - Have I texted the cousins...
Love it.:p
18th birthday banner is on standby(Thanks to a CERTAIN FLYLADY)
If 3 people live in one house and two of them have birthdays on consecutive days it WILL be stressful. And that's why I need two cakes.:D
I'm thinking sparklers instead of candles...are the number sparklers any good? especially if one's a 1?
I shall wear my new eyelashes! Got a 'new' sort *flutter*
wow! Tris & Lady Liberty - I think they have a guardian angel... a really really smiley oneDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Lame Wolf - sending brave hugs honey for Tuesday. You are in my thoughts xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Way to go Lady L Wooooo Hooooo! I'm delighted for you both
I'm awake stupidly early because DH is snoring after going on a Stag do yesterday.
Going to see the Lion King today with the littlies but I must hunt down the tickets. I think they are in the study but if I go clattering around in there I will wake them up and I'm enjoying a nice peaceful cuppa.
We head to Gatwick a week today - stupid wedding we live 10 mins from Stansted and have to fly from the other side of London. I feel strangely organised so stand by for last minute panic and mayhem.
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday. I'm going to tackle HHI now.0 -
Morning ladies,
I am up but not dressed.
This morning I need to iron and send a couple of e-mails.
I am going out at 11.15 to a meeting (voluntary stuff) and won't be back until teatime.
I'm guessing that the ironing will be the only flying today.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone.Yesterday is history
Tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift
That's why we call it 'The Present'0 -

As you may know I have been in the Royal Marsden recently having major surgery .. had a few complications, like stopping breathing  & being put on a ventilator but other than that it has gone as well as it could. I vowed not to have anymore interaction but this was necessary for quality of life.
Anyway, I'm sure the news you want to know involves my planned trip to Vegasmy DP & I agreed if I got thru this surgery then we could follow my dream .. he has been by my side the whole time a continual source of love & support :A as those of you on FB will know
we love each other dearly, have both got battles with Cancer & have learnt to make the most of every day ... SO we are going to Vegas to get married :happyhear no date has been set yet, it depends on how I heal but we hope by the end of the year
He is American, so I then make the big move to Montana & we start our new life ... with the illness I have it may not be a long one but we will sure make it a happy time
We have the blessing of my DS so that is wonderful ... & as a further piece of info for those of you who remember DIVA this gorgeous man I am marrying is her friend Tris that she used to talk about a lot .. our lives have come full circle & I know she would be delighted for us :A
So there you have it
I haven't read back I'm afraid but love to all my flylady friends who are still here  apologies to any newbies who wonder what on earth I am going on about :rotfl: but it is the weekend so I'm allowed to gossip without piggers flinging a mule my way
Special love to toots as usual xx
LL~~ this is wonderful news thank you so much for coming in and telling us all about it, as I am not on FB.
I wish you well, and hope all your dreams come true, best wishes for the future xxxx

At 5.50am removed cat out of garden, because he was 'squaring up' to a very large black cat, I've not seen before and both were making one hell of a racket, then had a scrap, fur all over the garden, as he is normally so timid this was very unusal and he would more than likely been hurt, brought cat in and found said frog in kitchen!
Removed out of the kitchen a live frog at 6am this morning!
