cycling yorkie - do you need to reduce the file size? try uploading it in a smaller format to photobucket first, and then saving it back to your computer in a smaller format before uploading it.

More washing out on the line, rubbish and recycling in bins, DW on and dry bedding folded. I'm waiting for a phone call before it's my bathtime, but I'm getting impatient now.
Have also got to phone NN's son to see if he'll babysit for 20 minutes tonight. I need to leave the house at 10.45 to meet OH and DS1's train arrives just before 11pm. I've asked him not to leave it to the last train, but will have to see. It'll be a long walk for him if he misses it... He might be home in time for breakfast.

Kitchen paint peeling dilemma alert - please sit down as you may find this overly exciting!!

About 6 years ago I had my kitchen tiles painted over in a lovely pale turquoise colour to match the lovely new turquoise painted walls. Proper tile paint was used.

Now it is peeling from the bottom upwards, ie a couple of inches from the work surface. I blagged a couple of large sample kitchen tiles from the [STRIKE]naive[/STRIKE] helpful young man at the local tile shop (now closed down, maybe they gave away too many samples :o)

However it has now spread so the tiles no longer cover the entire offending area. My idea was to scratch/wipe away the paint on the bottom row of tiles, and 'sealing' the edge with a jolly good application of the super-white grouting pen I found at the back of the man cupboard (tools etc, not males) thereby making a sort of border.

Could this work? Any other ideas? Money is mega tight with me not working so spending is not an option atm.

8 x large black bags of towels folded, packed, sealed and labelled - this has to have created space in the front bedroom! Oh, and two cat beds.

Mr B said he would be home at 6, but rang to say that he would now be home at 9 - and I wanted to pack all the bulky stuff in the car tonight - oh well.

Mrs Chaos I wouldn't be surprised if you're nearer the Show than me - I'm going to be doing a lot of driving tomorrow.

Good Intentions - you're going to have to be firm but fair - I do think that e-mail invoices can be ignored - even by the nicest people. Good child care places are invaluable - you can afford to set some boundaries now.

I haven't done much 'ordinary' flying today apart from the dailies - although I'm pretty pleased I've cleared the towels out. Tomorrow I will be VERY satisfied if I complete half the dailies.

Right, off to finish tidying the kitchen - that's me done for the night then.

Just catching up, but couldn't go without saying how very happy I am at reading your news lady-liberty!!! I think valli said exactly what I've just said!

I've been at school for two days INSET, one very good the other - well, better not ask.

Today I had a day's knitting course, on finishing techniques, although it actually covered an awful lot more than just that. I walked there and back (quite a trek, to make up for sitting all day) and I'm shattered!

Back to school Monday - and this year I'm working Monday, Tuesday and Wdnesday, so I'll probably see you all on Thursday morning. I have to do my planning tomorrow.

Love and hugs, especially to lady-liberty, toots and lamewolf, and to everyone else who needs one.

I hadn't clicked that Tris is Diva's friend :o - that makes it seem even more special and I know she would be soooooo pleased for you both.

Sending love, hugs and spoons to you both and also to Toots and LW xx

Just had text from DH to say him and DD won't be back until 11 - she'll be shattered tomorrow and then off to school on Monday. I don't know why he leaves it so late to travel .

Anyhow, in the meantime, I'm wondering whether to dig out the ironing board as got a bit needs doing - what d'ya reckon? At least it'll be done then.
