    Evening all,

Been rather a nice day here although temperature much lower than it should be for time of year.

NPM...glad that you and OH have sorted out your differences. Agree with Molly that it would be a good idea to accept your parents' offer as, while I know absolutely nothing about autism, I presume that early intervention is better than late...hugs for you all.

Lou...hugs, things have to get better soon.

Jaxx...hugs for your DD and children.

    Flutterby....envy you your holiday itinerary....

Bramble....arrange a holiday, everybody needs one.

We had a huge brunch, so no dinner....OH gone to bed as he is very tired these days, notice that he is a little breathless at times but don't say anything as he gets mad if I 'fuss'! Am eating fruit to keep me going as I seriously overate this morning.

Finished one of the cushion covers last night, pleased enough with it, going to use same colours but different patterns for the others, think 4 will be enough....I hate to sit on a sofa with lots of cushions so that is how mine are going to be!

Beth....definitely think that your OH is right, get yourself checked out, probably nothing, but nice to confirm that.

Head not working too well and dogs need feeding, so hugs to all in need or want, stay safe and well

  • Marie.....yes you are right early intervention is best:D Thing is he couldnt have had it much earlier...he was diagnosed at 2 and had one to one therapy 3 days a week....he is much luckier than some who are not even diagnosed till 8 or 9:eek:
The thing is that it is an ongoing condition so brings more problems as you go along so different professionals get involved for different things. I am looking for a private behav psych for him:o
I am in bed now doing the Sainsburys shop:rotfl:
DH got me some cough medicine today and looked after DS while I had a doze and watched Clash of the Titans;)
have just had a hot toddy to help me sleep...neither of us drink so DH had to go and get a small bottle of brandy so I could have one.

Bramble I read One Day yesterday and loved it. The twist in the tale shocked me though.

    evening all!

been a busy day here! went carbooting with DH to Ledbury, great boot!:T then we took the pigeons training to Mitcheldean(forest of dean) and had a coffee(from our flask;)) overlooking a fab view of the Severn Estuary.

I've cooked a nice tea for DS and DH - braised beef and mash and veggies. I had some fish pie and veg from the freezer.

Slowly catching up with the laundry. Work again tomorrow for both of us.

My cough is a lot better and the catarrgh(sp) is getting better:j

    (((hugs))) to those in need

    Evening all.

NPM - glad OH came back and things are on a more even keel. Enjoy the toddy.

    Lou - ((hugs))

JackieO - Sorry to hear about the holiday home. Was the weather OK?

Had a great day here today. Long walk down to Greenwich and back. Dog exhausted :D Had his last antibiotic tonight so hopefully his appetite will return. Did paid work this evening and demolished a lovely roast dinner I didn't have to cook :j

Tomorrow going to cinema with DS&BIL and then DM cooking another roast (DDad loves his roast and there is no point for 1 as Mum isn't a great fan, so daughters coming to dinner is a great excuse) Must be careful to stay healthy though - DM did boiled new pot for me tonight and roasties for Dad. Very thoughtful. She's picked up on the fact that I'm on a diet.

Managed to get back on to computer after a mad week, last week.
    Gosh! You've all been busy.

Lou: so sorry about the accident. You've not had it good just lately, have you? Hope things improve soon.
NPM: Oh you poor darling. I do wish there was something practical I could do to help. Do take your Mum's offer of help, you need every bit of help you can get. You sound just exhausted.
Beth: To lose weight that quickly can't be good, (even if we all secretly wish we could do it,) do take OH's advice and get checked out - it could be something quite simple.

Facing another quite hectic week. Have offered to produce the Harvest Supper at church and want absolutely everything to be HM, mostly it seems, by me. Fortunately I love cooking but my faithful Magimix has just let me down. I think the motor has burnt out. Oh well, everything will not only be home-made but hand-made. Goodnight.
