why is my life always so crap?
DH has walked out after DS kicked him in the face:(, he gave DS a smack on the bum for it and we ended up arguing as I have a no smack rule where DS is concerned.
We ended up having a argument upstairs and I was so angry with him over it that I smacked him on the back:o
I think I always knew deep down that DS and I face a future alone:(0 -
Morning,
Many thanks for all the birthday wishes you lovely lot :AI had a lovely day if hectic, the food festival was brill-caught a glimse of 1 H biker but it was ticket only for the cook sessions.Had some lunch there,& then a cider in the cider tent.Hic.Bought some hickory smoked garlic bulbs, and a tub of mexican sauce and a b squash soup.DH bought the soup because the man gave him a tester and then he felt a bit obliged but its not as nice as the one I do and a lot thinner
My football team could have obliged with a better resultbut we enjoyed our curry out with friends last night.Tea tonight is a meal deal, not sure who will be in or out but the fridge is full,I did a big shop on Friday.Havent done a big shop for about 3 weeks, and was shocked at the total  there didnt even seem that much there, and the only 'extra' I bought was a pink soft toy that was half price.I'll have to work harder to cut it down.
Its really windy here, sunny with showers-my cousin just sent me a text ,her DS1 is an hour out of New York working in a childrens camp and they have sent all the kids home but have said the staff can stay till its safe so hope he's ok.
I hope to finish the cot canopy today, been fiddling on the sewing machine with the embroidery stitches-not used em before but quite pleased, cut a white felt heart out and edged it,just need a bit more practice :rotfl:
(((Hugs to Lou)))-really sorry to hear about OH accident-she's definately due some good fortune.
Flutterby-good news about the vertigo doc-lets hope he can sort you out
Candy- hope the baby makes an appearance soon
Bethebee -good for DH,glad you are going to be checked out.
Have good days all xx
NPM- (((hugs))) just seen your post and my heart goes out to you all, such a hard situation you're in.He probably just needs a bit of space to calm down (and you)Hope youre ok.xx:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -

NPM, sorry you're feeling crummy hope you get better asap and DS does want to chill out in front of the telly with you- he is so OS with chickens and cats!
Sparklyshoes, remember you can ripen a lot of veg indoors, pop over to the Green Fingered board
((hugs)) for Lou and her OH
Morning all, was up pretty early but have been pottering around a lot. Made wholemeal pancakes and fruit salad for breakfast, will do a big roast of reduced goodies for tea and going to make a batch of raspberry flapjacks. Have lots of cleaning, tidying and unpacking to do today and a load of washing. The washing seems to be never ending latelyAnd I need to CPR my squash plants that got battered in the rain.
I've been so reluctant to spend money since I got a new job and actually have money but today I need to buy gym equipment online as I'm not gonna be renewing my membership. I have my eye on £200 worth of stuff BUT I'm going to DIY it for under £20 :j
We managed to get a really sturdy cross trainer from Argos sale for £140 ish a couple of months ago to use instead of paying to go to the gym. It gets much use from me & DD, try and use it most days infact. So much handier than the gym, with a big exercise ball, some handweights and a little trampoline we get a full workout if we want.
Morning all. Dull and yucky here no rain yet though. Have been on Cross trainer this morning after a lazy quiet morning. OH is off doing a 10k run and DD and her friend have now disappeared off somewhere so who knows when they will be back.
OS wise just a heap of drying to sort and iron/put away and that's it. Out at inlaws for dinner so no cooking needed to be done. Maybe we will do some cosy baking this afternoon and I'm sure the Grand Prix will feature in this afternoons plans somewhere. Am going to check the cupboards for the mealplan this week and what I will need to buy ( trying to keep it to a minimum)Grocery challenge October: £228.28/£250.00 NSD 4 ( not completed)
Grocery challenge November : £291.65/300.00 NSD 10
Grocery challenge December : £0/240.00 NSD0 -
NPM - Massive hugs to you all xxxxYou know your getting old when yougo to the pub sit outsideand admire the hanging basket

So sorry to hear you're having such a bad time and hope DS wasn't too affected by the smack.
p.s. your DH deserved one.0 -
I dont think he did deserve one really....you have to realise that we are dealing with DS screaming in our faces and hitting us and kicking us pretty much on a daily basis and it is very hard to deal with:o....he headbutted me recently and knocked me clean out:(
DH gave him a smack on the bum for kicking him in the face....I dont agree with smacking but I think maybe I over reacted0 -

Well maybe not, but you are under so much pressure and stress, It's understandable you reacting before thinking it through.
Don't be too hard on yourself. (((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))) :A0 -
No he didn't deserve a smack, but the neither did Noah. Give yourselves some time to calm down, and apologise, and talk it through. He had all the time in the world to decide if he wanted this family before you married, and I am sure once he calms down, and you talk it through, you will be able to sort things out. NPM, big hugs for you,I am sure DH will come back once he has cooled off a bit, he should not have smacked Noah but perhaps it was a reflex type thing.
I must admit if anyone smacked my dd I would fly at them, probably like most mums on here.
Can you get Noah out for a walk at all ?? the air might calm him a bit.
Big hugs my darling xx0
