The reciept says "If you change you mind , not a problem. You can return your product unopened in its original undamaged packaging within 21 days and well give you a full refund-no questions asked"
"/ great.
Who returns a product without opening it :S0 -

Those who are unsure if they need it, or those who brought it on a whim or regret the decision.
Not sure where you are going with the question.0 -
Think about for a moment.
You quote the '21 days, unopened, no questions asked' on the receipt and ask who would return a product unopened as if that is unreasonable, but realistically do you honestly see a shop taking back an iPad that has been used for nearly three weeks and refunding a customer's money simply because they say they are unsatisfied with it?
It's not gonna happen. If I'm honest I'm very dubious whether they'd take back a used iPad that isn't faulty after even 48 hours, though as I've said there's no harm in asking.0 -
A simple case of buyers remorse.Frank_Force wrote: »It's not gonna happen. If I'm honest I'm very dubious whether they'd take back a used iPad that isn't faulty after even 48 hours, though as I've said there's no harm in asking.
They wouldn't. The problem is with items like this when you turn it on you register the product. Not really much use to anybody after this.0 -
I thought Curry's also had a policy where the box could be opened but instead of getting a full refund, you'd get a credit note for the amount, if returned within a certain amount of time.
Actually, forget that, it's Comet who do that. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
You opened it so a chance of a refund is now unlikely, you can ask but they aren't obliged to offer anything. Just interested to know what you were expecting from an ipad and how it didnt fulfill the expectation.0

I know its nothing to do with your query
Im just interested
what did you expect?
having used an iphone and having seen folks using an Ipad(never used one)
I could see its pretty much the iphone OS on a bigger screen
did you not get a chance to try one somewhere before buying?0 -

I can see where you would have issues
its not really what you were after0 -
I know this doesn't really help you but if anyone else isn't sure then buy an iPad from apple, you have 14 days for a full refund even if it's opened.
I would still try with comet as I thought they had a deal with apple for good customer services on apple products.0
