Oooh, Valli, you could be me! I'm the biggest procrastinator of all time!

My biggest frog at the moment is my garden. due to my dear old Dad's illness and death this year I've done NOTHING in the garden. The flower beds are completely overgrown with weeds, nettles, brambles, etc. I've been putting off tackling it. Don't enjoy gardening anyway, seems like so much outdoor housework, but I can't bear it the way it is.

There is one little patch that I did weed earlier on, and that wouldn't take long to clear. TADPOLE.
The front garden is very dry and although well weedy could be done in 3 or 4 half hour chunks. FROG
The rest HUMUNGOUS GREAT GIANT FROGS. Will use my timer and do 20 minutes at a time.

This might take two or three weeks then I'll think about inside.

Am now going to close computer, do my tad pole and relax with a cup of coffee and the paper.

Bought a bag of choccy (Thornton's) mis-shapes as a treat tonightfrom HB:)

We were going to do another cupboard in the spare box bedroom/computer room but have decided to put that off until tomorrow:o

This frog has been done:T Off to the tip with some things, some things ready for charity shop but also moved some things into the loft so not sure if diehards would say we've done it properly:o

Oh, and my treat of mis-shapes turn out to be all the same flavour-lols
  • abwsco - sounds like you have done really well. Is the stuff in loft stuff you want to keep - if so that's fine. If not then it is a frog for another time

monnagran - Welcome. Hope you got on well with your tadpole and enjoyed your paper. I think using the timer is a good idea for the garden, so going to borrow that one once DD goes back to school.

lollyfin ooo well done you. I think that is a great frog to get to grips with - well done you

Emm - what is 'whoopsy' beef? I remember getting on my hands and knees with rubber gloves on to get rid of the cat hairs. Made my hands sweat I can tell you - so congratulations for getting on and doing it - what a trade! obviously worked well for you x

I have to say that I have got nowhere with my little froggy - he just keeps jumping away from me. I NEED A SMILEY FROGGY ...

Why are frogs so happy? They eat whatever bugs them!

It is stuff we want to keep but it's still in dire need of sorting out at some point. Boxes and boxes of old photo's. They definately can wait though.

Hope you manage to catch your Frog tomorrow.

I'm enjoying Frogs as I can't get to grips with full on fly lady.

More Frogs to do are kitchen drawers and under the sinks- both bathroom and kitchen. Oh, and I've moved my stash of washing powder and loo rolls into my newly de-frogged cupboard:)

I have a tadpole size email that I've been putting off sending for a few days. I will do it now then 'allow' myself a cuppa which I'm desperate for right now!

Another awesome thread - I should come hang out here instead of the DFW board!

Frogs. Ladies I have a whole POND of the things. As I work from home you'd think it would be easy to get a handle on things. Nope. Other way round. I put off work things to deal with house things, then I put off work things to deal with house things....and let us not even think about venturing into the gardening, the Ebay Mountain and the (dun dun DUN) redecorating jobs.....

So my lists may include some worky things & some housey things. And my thing at the minute is Facebook games... My name is Obi, and I am a Frontierville-aholic..... so the deal I've made with myself is that for every minute I play FB games, I have to do the same amount of frog squashing, as well as any other times I set aside.

Tonight I'm going to sit down with the OH (seeing as he's engrossed in a new Xbox game) and start my list!
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

I did my little tapole patch. It took 10 mins! 10 minutes weeding and 2 hours slumped on the sofa with paper and Judge Judy. Now that's what I call a bargain.

Hold on though, tomorrow I've to tackle the grotty front garden and try to ignore all the rude remarks from passers-by. Never mind, I'll use the timer again and see how far I get. my reward will be 1 hour with my book, that and a virtuous glow.
