A "tadpole" just finished which was tidying a bedroom and freshening it up. Still doing some decluttering but it might be tomorrow when I've finished that.

Animal companions can be a big source of worry so that was definitely a "frog" if Bertie is fine now.

Just got in from a walk with DD and the dog. Have been feeling very low the last 24 hours, really didn't want to get up and it's thanks to DH I am up and about - I wanted to hibernate. Feel so much better thanks to some exercise and for once the dog didn't roll in fox poo  so going to have a drink and get some more typing done.

Hope you're all having a lovely day.

  • Hello Everyone

I've just been reading through this thread and I reckon it's just what I need to help me get things done. I hope you don't mind if I join you.

I can probably work out a couple of frogs for tomorrow
    • I'll dye my hair too
    • call phone company to 'upgrade' to a lower tariff and get a new phone at the same time :)
    • iron the clothes we need for the first part of the week (might get a bit more done)
    • file the pile of bills on the kitchen table
My treat will be watching the new Downton Abbey. I loved the last series:):)
I need to make a new list for 2014

  • Morning everyone,

Hugs to everyone. It just shows how these damn tadpoles get to breed cos life stuff can get in the way but get how determined we all are! Go team us!

My frog today is to clear the stairs - a friend has offered to help me. It's really bad to clutter these up but it keeps happeing. Anyway, clear stairs beckon!

  • Good Afternoon All ... mustmakealist you are of course, very welcome. That's the joy of this thread - we all have frogs of different types and sizes. Hope you get to grip with yours!

Dare I say it 'i have started to think about Christmas' so have been looking at different threads on this subject ... more frogs to think about ...

mumof2 hope you are feeling better today. x

mineallmine how did you do with your stairs. We put things at the bottom of the stairs to take up, but otherwise ours are clear, very steep stairs perfect for falling down, so nothing allow!!

Haven't done anything much today. I think Procrastination is becoming my second name. x

My Frogs have gone rightwards for the next two weeks. Unanticipated visitor arriving next weekend and staying for a week - so I need to get things shipshape and turn my "storage room" back into a second bedroom.

Please start nagging me in early October :)

    Hi all,

I also feel that the usual daily activities interfere especially if they are health connected or frugal.

I've just finished a "froglet" which was some decluttering/recycling, as much as the bin will hold. A "froglet" because getting rid of things is a bit of a "sticking point" for me. The "reward" being more space and a safer environment.

Also, a "froglet", I have kept trying to break some dietary habits which I wonder if they are making me unwell. I have made some small changes today so it leaves me feeling more positive.

    • [STRIKE]I'll dye my hair too [/STRIKE]- DONE
    • [STRIKE]call phone company to 'upgrade' to a lower tariff and get a new phone at the same time [/STRIKE]:) - DONE
    • iron the clothes we need for the first part of the week (might get a bit more done) - WILL DO IN A LITTLE WHILE
    • file the pile of bills on the kitchen table - NOT DONE Put off until tomorrow:embarasse
But I did manage to hoover my bedroom and I've been putting that job off for quite a while so all is not lost.

so 3 frogs dealt with so far and another one to be banished before I go to bed.

  • well with my little run of days off after night shifts i compiled a wee list of froglets to banish , i say a wee list but i have 12 jobs written down

i thought if i did that i wont amble in circles thinking where to start

so i cracked on and tackled

the much needed junk cupboard ..i call it the cupboard under the stairs though i dont have stairs i live in a cottage , but if i had a cupboard under the stairs thats what it would loook like ..you know the one with the hoover and ironing board in , and i stupidly put shelves in there thinking it would organise me , but EVERYTHING gets thrown in there and the door firmly closed ( good job i dont seek the ironing board and hooover often ;) )

but now organisation reigns again and i have 3 large bags for the tip :D

i got round to photographing and listiing well overdue items on ebay , i dont use it often and it took me ages ...but as it was free listings day i thought i would take advantage and hopefully earn a few much needed pennies in the bargain

i sorted my very untidy chest of drawers its amazing how stuff gets thrown in to any ols drawer and i vow each time i sort it that i shall keep it that way ....for how long ...who knows but at least its done

also sorted through the airing cupboard i was falling into body shop smellies i have aquired from recent grabbits and gliches , so again order reigns and have taken stock of just how many bottles of raspberry shower gel i have...o dear quite a lot:o

so at least i feel i have achieved something today and makes me feel better writing it down ( gives myself a pat on the back )

so just having a well earned hot choc with cream and marshmallows Mmmm lovely

keepup the momentum folks we're doing grand :T:T
