Mumof2 A frog a day keeps procrastination at bay! LOVE IT!!!!!:TFootball Widow :footie:
Why are frogs so happy? They eat whatever bugs them!0 -
Done another froglet - took the chicken coop apart, disinfected it, scrubbed it and hosed it down (it's a plastic one). I wiped the nesting box dry with a sponge, put down fresh bedding and sprinkled mite powder in it so all nice and fresh. Oh yes, and cleaned their water bowl too and this evening will mix worming powder in with their supper.
Phew!
We took advantage of the sun last Sunday and did our Cube and Go:) I buy the prepared pellets;)0 -
 Frog eaten. Freezer audit complete and I have LOADS of food.
Now to menu planning.

I have found that some "frogs" are avoided due to how they make you feel. I did one yesterday (health related) that is inescapable every year and it left me feeling wretched. Still have to go back there as well.
Anyway, I have completed another "frog" from the six I set. Others are progressing. Longterm, I aim to try to reduce what distracts me from doing tasks and not to create the "frogs" in the first place.0 -
I think of those as TOADS (all warty and horrible
)
Mine are all paperwork related too. Esp. as you say, health related stuff, with finance running a close second.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Big Hugs to you dannie sounds like you have had a tough time. Please give yourself a lovely reward, you really deserve it especially if it isn't quite over yet.
Squeaky you were up early again this morning!
cat_smith glad to hear you are well stocked up!!
My FROG this week is to look at our weekly food budget. We have a spread sheet which we use as our list. I have kept the last 5 weeks worth of receipts so going to look through and see where I can start cost cutting. Had Grandad here for the last 2 months but he goes home this week, so next week will definately reduce. (He likes his sweets and toffees!!)
I was thinking that Frogs are really different for everyone. Some everyday tasks could be total frogs for some people due to many different reasons. Frogs are very personal I think!
Anyway hope the day goes well for you all ... xFootball Widow :footie:

I'm trying to get DH to help me to clean the venetian blind in the kitchen. Our sink is in front of it, it's a wide window and it's a balancing act to get to it. Oh and it's a narrow slatted one as well so loads of slats:o Would be easier to take it down and stick it in the bath but it was a nightmare to put up so he won't be taking it down.0

What a fab thread. I would love to have joined in right away, but I wouldn't know where to start. We were getting ready to put the house on the market, and had loads of little things to do get the house ready for photos. Then the dog got really ill, then my daughter was poorly for a week, and I've been ill for three weeks with a bad chest infecton. My husband has let the house go to rack and ruin (he has tried but he can't keep the kids and two dogs alive and clean up after anybody at the same time) and I could just sit and cry with the mess that's left. Still not completely well yet and can't breathe if I carry a full washing basket and so it's making me sad because I can't get anything done properly.
To make matters worse, my youngest daughter started school full time last Wednesday. I had HUUUGE plans to get myself on track, get the house tidy, get the little DIY jobs done, get the dogs in a proper walking routine, get out of the house (I haven't much, I've had depression for a long while and feel wobbly going out so I don't if I don't have to, but I was going to start trying properly). I just sat and cried all day because I felt bad for being ill and because everything has gone wrong.
You know when things get a bit overwhelming?
Sorry for the moan. But I would love to join in once I know where to start. x0 -
Lucyeff - there's a froglet out there you can do. Something small but to give you and your folks confidence. Think about what that could be. Could hubbie bring the shredder close to you so you could do 10 mins of that? Or could he bring a box of stuff to you to sort through. Put your creative hat on there's something you can do for just 10 mins. I know what it's like battling through stress and illness - allow yourself time to be frustrated and upset by it. But then find some way to take action.
