FW: why should you feel ashamed? I clocked the dreaded word, 'gardening'. Beside that, emptying a few kitchen cabinets is very small beer.
OberonSH: Good for you. It looks like the departure of your DH has given you a shot of adrenalin.
Lucyeff: Oh, my poor girl! What in heavens name possessed you to invest in 2,000 tins of olives. Is there going to be a worldwide olive famine? Is that why you've cornered the market? I would suggest a few dozen dustbin sacks, some VERY LOUD music, a closed mind and some wholesale slinging. Gritted teeth might help too.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Gosh hasn't everyone done well. seems as though everyone has their own particular froggy areas - Monnagran you particularly find the garden a frog, where I would love to be out in mine!. I have big frogs around phone calls and old cards and letters, although today i have cleared 2 boxes from the spare room cupboard which i had forgotten were there.
Am sitting down typing this with my reward of a ice cold raspberry mojito:T
Tomorrow my self assessment is my frog - never done one before. reward - some cake baking - cookies and battenburg.£400,000 starting Jan 2020 current end date Aug 2041 I would love the end date to be 2027 but will aim first for 2037.
1% target £4000 so far £20 paid0 -
OMG iamsalt - I want a raspberry mojito! Gimme gimme! I'm trying to get the kids into bed early (their stupid father only brought them back last night at 9pm - I was really peed off) them I'm not touching my FB games tonight. it's Classic FM, a bottle of beer and the ironing. Yeah, his departure has made me look at the house and my life in a more critical light so I can fix the bits I don't like without having to run it past someone else. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Ok I think this is a great idea for me!
I'm going to tackle 10 frogs this week, they are quite simple ones, but I keep putting them off. Here goes:
1. Get car MOTd
2. Frame and put photo in dds bedroom
3. Put shower thingy up again.
4. Chuck out old plants.
5. Take load to the dump.
6. Take load to the charity shop.
7. Ebay dds shoes and boots.
8. Re order pin at bank
9. Clean car out
10. Scan in rest of photos
Even if I only get 5 done it will be great!0 -
I have had a very productive tadpole/frog tackling weekend:D
This thread is has really motivated me, i love the frog idea and it is becoming a well known phrase around my home:)
I add a couple of tadpoles onto my daily to do list and the whole family is getting involved. I actually start to think more positively about them and am starting to look at what i can do rather than putting it off like i used to.
As we speak my OH is tackling the mounting dvd collection which is just a mess of dvds, empty boxes and lose discs, once completed that will be yet another tadpole done (for now anyway:D)
Plus earlier this evening my son organised and cleaned out his DS storage box, so all games are now put away and wires are neat.:T
All of todays tadpoles are completed but i have a few frogs on my list that will have to wait till the weekend.
This may sound a little corny but one way i keep myself focused is by saying.......
A few tadpoles a day keep the frogs at bay...:rotfl:

Lucyeff, just wanted to say well done on doing your niggly tadpoles :T! You just need to take small steps and keep moving on forward and you will get there. I very much relate to you; I suffer from depression and am on antidepressants - have been since 2004 and no sign of me coming off them for ages yet
. However, they keep me well - that's the main thing. I have a dog too and sometimes it's just such an effort to take her out but I always feel so much better for some fresh air.
OK, just done a froglet - done an insurance quote on one of the comparison websites. I hate sitting and filling in all the little boxes etc; DH doesn't do it (he's handed over all the carp jobs to me!) but by the looks of it we can save £30 by changing.
My aim for the week is to do a tadpole each day which is take a photo of items to sell and put on ebay/netmums. I've been saying I'll do this for such a long time but never got my bum in gear. No more. I WILL (sorry to shout) do it and make a bit of money come in instead of going out all the time! I may need a bit of reminding about this one by the way.

Mumof2: Filling in forms is much bigger than a froglet, well done. I hope you gave yourself a lovely reward.
roundtoit: even if you only get one done it will be great. That list of yours looks like a whole army of frogs to me.
I am ankle deep in green puddles here today. I actually sorted out a huge plastic boxful of sundry sewing items and got them into labelled drawers. The most amazing things turned up. Is anyone in urgent need of a button-hook? It's probably my grandmother's. Greatgrandmother's even. And silver thimbles - definitely Grandmother's, I remember her wearing them. Also about 100 reels of thread and enough safetypins to last me to the end of time. Why do we keep this stuff?I believe that friends are quiet angels

Hoping that the weather will allow me to do the last couple of setting tweaks to the hinges and bolts on my modified shed door. It works a treat, btw
and my mobility scooter is now under cover - just got this tidying up to do.
Then I can start on sorting out an electrical supply to it for charging. That means a shopping trip first - which is this week's target.

I am unsure whether I can complete my frog an froglet tasks afterall by the end of Wednesday due to "bad" days. However, yesterday I did manage a "frog" tasks deleting 20 computer favorites and am still working upon other tasks. Yesterday, it was hard to get on with everyday life and complete long term "frogs" at the same time but I will try and discover some. After Wednesday, "tadpole" tasks might be better. As with Lucyeff, my kitchen is a big "frog" and actually prevents me catching up on "frog" problems so this needs a better approach. Anyway, thanks for all the posts.0

Many thanks! My reward will be to sit down and do some knitting and not feel guilty.
Can I ask what green puddles are please - sorry to seem dim.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0
