Afternoon all!
*Hugs* to those who are having a bad day/start to the year. Hopefully things will start to look brighter soon.
Working hard all day today - will be about 7 before i get home. Got tons of veg in at the minute - mainly because my Mum has had to go away at short notice and dumped the entire contents of her fridge on me! Obviously thats a good thing for the buget but i also go on hols on Saturday and so need to get it all cooked/frozen asap. I'd prefer to make it into meals and then freeze. Hopefully then when we get back it wont be a mad rush to the shops and end up spending a fortune because i havent had time to plan!
Have a good day everyone!0 -
Afternoon all. Mouth just starting to feel normal after being to dentist, suppose I have an excuse for dribbling today! I know starting to feel normal as it's hurting
Managed to resist buying anything while in town at dentist, mainly because I couldn't talk properly to ask the assistant if she had the slippers I seen in my size :rotfl: suppose I don't need them anyway but they were nice! Resisted Xmas bargains like cards etc as I really don't have the space to store them!
Been and got a trailer from freecycle, oh how I love that place, DP was on about spending £200 on one that we don't have yesterday. Posted it and got a reply in minutes! Also got rid of some things today, lovely lady came and collected them, so thats a bit less clutter.

Well im back from my long walk on the beach.. boy was it windy !!! the tide was out, but the sea still looked rough.. i walked for about two hours !!! on the way home i stopped off in Iceland ( the shop that is !!! ) wow got some great bargains... all the xmas party food is reduced to half price, its taken me ages to get it all in the freezer, i had to take most things out of their boxes !! still i pushed and squeezed and got it all in. ( im good at that.. i have to do it most days to get into my clothes !!!! )
It looks like it might rain here soon, it normally waits till the kids are either comming home from school or are on their way there !!!

Hi
well after spending most of yesterday in bed I am feeling much better today, so am back in work.
Hugs to all who need them
Old style is going OK - I made bananna flapjack last night - tastes really good, (found the receipe on here somewhere) but I'm not sure it is good for my diet when I get up with the LO's at 5am!!!!
Managed to make packed lunch last night - but I think we forgot to defost the chicken for our dinner.
I didn't manage to walk across Hyde park today - as I can only just make it up the stairs with this bad chest.
Oh well - just time for my last piece of flapjack before I pack up for the day and head home

I sort of watched it. Jackiey is ... a revelation! I do find her cringeworthy, especially when she admitted to being a "clipper" in her younger days and then explained it to those who didn't understand, like she was proud of it (!!). Maybe she is, getting one over on those men, but surely for the sake of her own daughter it's not something to brag about on national TV??? Old saying: "Never air your dirty laundry in public" - obviously passed Jackiey by
Leo has turned into a real whinger, which is a pity. Don't know that I agree Jade will win it, but it is lovely to see how she has "matured" since her first round a few years ago on BB
hgbels - congrats on your banana flapjacks :T Go easy on yourself if you have a bad chest! Give yourself time to recover ((hugs))~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

What job did you do Queenie??
Don't know if the store/supermarket still exists, but it was called "Caters" and it was right down the far end on the right hand side. Wild daysbefore the term "yuppy" was even invented :rotfl:
