ebay claim

hi folks
got a claim today with the buyer saying the 'SHE DENIES THAT THERE IS ANYTHING MISSING BUT THERE ARE LIDS MISSING ON BOWLS'
She has never asked if anything was missing and I have never Denied anything was missing, and I have all the emails to prove this.
she's also put the following
Problem: The item is not as described
The buyer has tried contacting you
The buyer paid on 14 Aug, 2011
The buyer contacted you through email.
The item has missing parts or pieces
You have not responded to the buyer
You aren't working with the buyer to solve the problem
She's gone straight to claims, no email to me.no contact and how can i Respond if no email?
The listing is correct and have sent an email back (via claims) asking her to read the listing as no lid was listed (nor no lid in photo).
What will happen? I've read that ebay favour the buyer.
Do I leave it to ebay now or do I offer full refund on safe return of service (which I don't think she will coz she paid £40 for her own courier)? This was a full china dinner service by the way not just a bowl
She's been a nightmare all the way with taking two weeks to get it picked up and after winning asking if it had only been used for 'veggies'
, she's been very rude in emails and now this HELP

should there be a lid on it as part of the set or is it an unlidded bowl?
If it's meant to have a lid as part of the set then you should mention that the lid isn't with it and not just expect people to know because it isn't listed and not in the pictures.0 -
Originally there was a lid but I did list all parts one by one and did list it as a 'bowl'mortgage 45414.72 overpayments now at £75mth

I would respond to the dispute, saying that in the picture there is no lid, you have listed every piece individually & there was no mention of a lid.0

I don't want to be alarmist here and i'm sure the buyer has just got their wires crossed, but when she arranged her own courier did you have full tracking and can you prove, using online tracking that she received the set?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. but you also said it was a 'full china dinner service', which it wasn't as there should be a lid with that particular item. Most people would look at the advert as a full dinner service and expect a full dinner service.
If an item is missing you really need to tell them and not just expect them to know because it isn't in the picture.0 -
I would imagine that's moot at the moment, Soo - she's filed a dispute for SNAD.I don't want to be alarmist here and i'm sure the buyer has just got their wires crossed, but when she arranged her own courier did you have full tracking and can you prove, using online tracking that she received the set?"Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Soolin - if the buyer has started an ebay dispute for SNAD they can't then start an ebay dispute for INR. I was also under the impression that once they have started an ebay dispute they couldn't start a paypal one. Is that incorrect?
I know at the beginning there was a blip and they could start a dispute in both, and ebay changed it so that in that event the paypal case closes in favour of ebay resolving it. It was communicated at that stage that you couldn't have two disputes running 'at the same time'. Can you have two disputes one after the other?0
