I am confused about the whole 'first claim' and 'second claim'. Surely she has started one dispute for SNAD and has just made a further comment that she has now noticed some items are broken?

Ebay will say that she will have to return for a full refund, as she paid for the courier you won't have to refund her that, it does of course mean that you will have to refund the £56.
Does she sell on ebay herself? If so ask her for pictures of the damage.
Depending on who she used as a courier it may not be covered anyway.
When would she have received it?

If she'd opened a claim to say something was missing she must have unpacked the whole lot, so would have noticed broken pieces.
She's just after a partial refund.

Yes I agree, but I think the OP is confusing matters by saying that 'in her first claim she moaned about a missing lid' and 'in her second claim she said bits were broken'. I am trying to ascertain whether she has actually started two disputes (which I didn't think was possible) or whether these are just further comments within the same dispute.
  • it took her nearly two weeks to sort out the courier, and sorry not 1st and 2nd claim just she's now claiming in her emails that pieces are broken but it wasn't part of the original claim (only that there were pieces missing ie the lids but no lids were listed)
what do i put?? or do I go to bed and calm down? so upset about this she has been a pain, rude and I just knew something like this was going to happen after she won it and started with the emails :0(

The way I'm reading it is the buyer has now told the seller pieces are broken.
The seller is wondering whether the buyer can add into the claim that some are broken.
    But I could be wrong.
  • thank you hermum sorry folks just upset about this I hate things like this and I'm a really nice person and hate upsetting people at the best of times and sorry if i'm confusing anyone :0(

I'd personally not respond tonight. I would be tempted tomorrow to get onto ebay, or paypal, whoever she's opened the claim with & have a chat with them.
Tell them that she initially said pieces were missing, then that some were broken & that she's asking for a partial refund.
She sounds to me like a chancer.
