1lb loss for me this week.
  • I'm back from 4 tortuous days at Disneyland Paris! My feet are swollen and killing me, and my face and fingers have also swollen a bit. I think this may be down to a touch of dehydration?

I jumped on the scales this morning expecting a lovely little weight loss from all the walking but instead they are daring to tell me that i've put on 6lbs! I am refusing to believe this and will weigh again tomorrow. I am hoping it's down to water retention and dehydration(is this a contradiction in terms?)

Will post the real loss/gain tomorrow. Anyway, am starting boot camp tomorrow night so hopefully that will kick me in the right direction.

  • Thanks - I'll post my starting weight later on tonight / tomorrow if that's ok? First WW session tonight so will go with that figure rather than what my home scales say I am.

Not a problem, and remember you don't HAVE to put a starting weight, some do, and some don't!

I think I will as it will motivate me even more if I see my weight written down. This challenge (and the subsequent monthly ones) will be a massive help as I'm looking to lose just under 25% of my body weight, which seems daunting. Breaking it down like this will make it seem more achievable.

Okay (and I need to lose 50%:cry::cry::cry:)

  • I've done this (the first 10 days though, not all of it!!:o). It's hard, but it is only half an hour and you can really feel a difference for having done it. I got through it by finding new and imaginative ways of swearing at Jillian every day.

"No shame ladies" is a new catchphrase in our house now :)

Well I bit the bullet and instead of going swimming I decided to do day one of the DVD. It was hard but I managed it - just! I almost sacked it off when it started with press ups - I can hardly do one and I hate them but I stuck with it and pushed myself to complete it as best as I could.

Now to stick at it ;):p

I must admit when doing the punches I was picturing myself hitting JM in the face :rotfl:

I highly doubt I will have lost any weight this week. Sick of my OH eating crisps, pizza and chocolate in front of me then offering it all to me. I can hardly go out every time he eats these things (studio flat so I can't ask him to go eat in the kitchen or anything like that coz it's still the same room).
