Yikes - been a long time since I posted on here, although as I have been reading other threads it doesn't feel like it's been all that time. Off to bed soon so a full update will have to wait for the weekend but let's just say that I pulled a stunt that even the most lax of you on here would tut at (the yoghurt-knitters will be spinning in their hand-dug graves) - got hold of another credit card with a 5k limit and we have spent the lot in little over four weeks - it's made for a great and unforgettable summer but now the repercussions will be kicking in. It's not quite as lunatic as it sounds (actually it is) but with a long term loan ending next month and a payrise in my next pay packet then the means will be there to start paying it down. On the plus side I have managed to acquire some Saturday and evening work to supplement my main income. But anyways, gory details later maybe.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)
2014: Goodbye Bloater, Hello Boater (DFW)
2015: Got here by luck, intending to stay by judgement (MFW)
2015: Back to DFW, but not back to Square One (DFW)0 -
Ouch. Forgive me for saying, but it sounds like maybe your lightbulb is flickering a bit.
Blowing £5k, but it's' okay because you can afford the credit card repayments' is not exactly the aim of the DFW game.

Good to see you back Mr Bloater.....I feared that me reading this thread had been the kiss of death because as I trawled my way through your last 2years diary your posts sort of dried up! I look forward to a fuller update
and I have subscirbed if thats ok....

Damn you Mr Bloater, I'm tired today because of you. I found your diary last night and read it until 3am!!! I've now subscribed. You're better than a magazine
I'm also fighting the flab by the way, so your weigh ins have made me chuckle no end.
