That tequila.... mix with ice and orange juice and its perfectly lovely.
We are devout frugal types, and we get the tesco wine offers, last one was 24 bottles of cab sav (decent bottles too) at 3.20 per bottle. Used vouchers and free delivery and whatnot.
Nothing like a glass of red on an autumn evening.
Laughed out loud at your chickchuck tales!

I was once described as a maverick too ( why do cowboys spring to mind when I hear that word)
Didn't James Garner play a cowboy investigator called Maverick?

Darker times over at Bloater Towers I'm afraid to day. Well actually that's technically untrue cos Mrs B is being an absolute star on her weightloss/moneysaving journey - another meal from the freezer today that had been batchcooked at the weekend and she managed 20 minutes on the cross-trainer - so dragging it out of the shed was a good move, but I'm on the cusp of jacking it all in. Woke up late and missed my running slot, after an arduous day at work all I really wanted to do was sink into a large drink after getting the kiddies to bed - somehow resisted temptation at the Co-Op and just bought what was needed - a bottle of milk and some baby wipes (rock and roll). In my line of work this is always the worst and most tiring week but I really feel I'm losing the will to carry on with the running, the careful eating, the money saving and indeed this diary. I'm going to have to sleep on it, and hope that I get out in the morning for a run. If I'm not back, then you know I didn't.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)
