Thanks for the tip angchris :)

Thanks Pink-winged for digging out those threads - they were really useful and I'm hopefully going to de-grease my lovely new top.

I appreciate your tips and help :D

    WASH IT AGAIN FIRST!

Sometimes such stains are left over soap that hasn't come out properly...

If you try to 'treat' the grease and it's not grease you could ruin the top totally...

    Hi Debby,

Here's your thread from yesterday: Casseroles - almost there but....

If you want to find threads you've posted, go to Quick Links (second from the right in the beige bar bar above). From the drop down list click on 'My Profie' and you will see options to view all threads or posts by debbycatz.

Just an alternative to your suggestion pink-winged, if you look at the main bar where it says, main site, chat, user cp, faq etc, and click on User CP, this will show all your recent posts where there are messages, you have an option on the left hand bar to select list subscription and this will show you all the threads you have made comments on. I find its easier to check these than try and find the original posts.
    I had a plan..........its here somewhere.

Thanks for all tips - I rubbed a little washing up liquid into the stain and then soaked my top in luke warm water with washing powder dissolved.
Luckily, I rinsed it and dried it yesterday and it's as clean as a whistle :)
All your tips were much appreciated :)

    Hi Bettie,

If you rub a little washing up liquid into the stain then wash in the usual way that should get rid of it.

There's another thread on removing grease stains that has other suggestions so I'll have a look for it and add your thread to it.
