Camping items and benches reserved!

Phone call to say OOS: YES!

My scenario :-

Ordered 3 items online yesterday, received phone call last night stating the Hawaii bench was oos.
Called today to double check my items that were in stock were still available before i made a special trip to the store - was told yes - asked again if bench in stock - still no.
Went to store this evening to collect my items and there were TWO HUGE STACKS OF BOXES of ..............HAWAII BENCHES!!! Gobsmacked. Advised the sales person that i'd reserved the Hawaii bench and again they said it was out of stock - i asked them to ring specsavers as there were two huge stacks of them.. But glad I didnt get it as the one assembled was very flimsy.

Hawaii bench, breathable bench cover, Ecu Bench Cushion and lolly maker - reserved last night, received a call from store at 9.25am today say out of stock. Handforth Dean, Cheshire. She said that they had the BBQ tool set and Grill Brush though and would have them ready for me to collect at lunch. When I got there no-one could find them. I found some myself - on the shop floor! WILL NEVER RESERVE FROM B&Q AGAIN.

After alot of agro from B&Q Hartecliffe, i finally managed to collect £158 worth of Weber accessories for a mere £38!!!! Good luck to people trying to use r+c, it caused alot of agro for me, i called the store 3 times and it was the manager you finally sorted the stuff out for me

B&Q need to get their act together, there is no concept of what reserve and collect is. In filton branch after not being able to find my reservation they fobbed the hubby off with a different kite... ok thats fine... then another member of staff said it needs to be paid for, which my hubby was going to do (and did). Afterwards the t****r asked to see the receipt which my husband showed him. Disgusting customer service

In cribbs most of the decent stuff was out of stock they did apparently call but "the phone was switched off". got one phonecall but that was for something else being out of stock.

In longwell green something that had been reserved had been "pinched".

to be honest i think its all a ploy. the (non existant) proper bargains were used to get people in to buy, but we ended up buying the rubbish they should have paid us to take away.
