i reserved loads of stuff in Wigan.

got phone call a few hours later to say no stock!!

i know its a while ago but i reserved loads of xmas stuff, lights etc a few days before xmas and had the phone call to say they were ALL out of stock !!!! very annoying!!

Good and bad from Wigan - I reserved 2 of the £15 down from £40 benches - turned up and not there. What made it worse was that I could see 4 of the benches in the reserved section but was told they were other people's. The man who dealt with me was very apologetic - checked that there were none to be found (even though 15 on the system) and he also rang round every other store and asked them not just to check the system but to physically look for them. Found some at St Helens so as they were a bargain I asked him to get them to put them away for me and I picked them up from there.

I didn't like an earlier comment saying staff took the bargains - the staff have always been really helpful - blame the system not the staff.

Well I posted that and in this part of the world I have had confirmation from two STAFF. One said he saw a colleague hiding stuff in the trade bit for later.

What is wrong with people on this forum? If you don't like a thread don't keep writing on it and therefore bumping it to the top of the list. If you don't like it - ignore it. I, for one, have managed to get a great deal from the OP and they did have it in stock in my local B&Q.

Seriously - chill out people.
