reserved the bench for £10.00, went down to the shop where ordered, no benches, but they said i could not collect till friday am...
20 mins after left the store, they phoned me to say none was availible... i was not happy. all stuff that left is different price to online price?:mad: i'm phoning in the morning to complain....

My husband went out to the b&q in Bilston today about 5.30 The lady there told him the camping stuff sold out at 11am today. People were taking 10-20 of each product. Why isn't there some sort of limit so people like us who are actually going camping this weekend, all get a look in?

Makes me so angry. Hope the greedy gets don't manage to sell a single thing.

i decided not to reserve online as i was planning to pop in that afternoon.

got garden furniture covers and cushion pads, one of the covers went through full price at self service till, b&q guy just asked me how much it was and put that in (said he was sick of going back and forth checking the cover prices as someone hadn't properly updated all prices on their system only put the new labels).

the store was busy and i saw the staff filling orders but being that nothings were its supposed to be or its been sold it was clear they were having difficulties. even saw one staff member climbing up onto a two-tier glass display unit to get the last stripey parasol

i know theres been alot of b&q backlash today but from what i saw the staff were clearly working hard. its not like argos where the stock is all in the back so when you reserve its ready for you.
its a sale and all the stock is on the shop floor, its inevitable it wont last long

Sorry to hear that, Dawnie. Yes, it was the Hawaii bench.

It does seem that the B&Q reserve and collect service is pretty hit and miss what with some people being told they wont reserve sale stock and others getting calls saying items no longer available. Definitely something that B&Q should sort out.

Thanks, ordered a parasol, 4 cushions and a cover for £10. Reserved yesterday to collect today. Missed out on the large coolbox for £1.

I reserved a load of bits at the peterborough branch yesterday morning, received a phone call at 8.45 last night!! to say all but some tea light candles were in stock.
