Hi everybody....did post earlier on but it disappeared into ether and I just swore for a while

Congratulations to all those who have done so well in their GCSEs and commiserations to those not so happy with results....is 15 not very young to be at that stage?

PenPin....lovely to see you posting and well done to DD....take care of yourself.

NPM....hugs to you, Noah and Fatcat.

    Taplady.....take care of you.

Ruby, sistercas and anyone else who is decorating.....could you STOP talking about it please, I haven't the energy to lift much more than a duster at the moment and can't paint walls with that!

Dinner to-day was steak, potatoes, hg peas and beans, followed by microwaved sponge and icecream....enjoyed it very much.

Weatherwise we have had lovely weather and rain, some rather heavy showers....am fed up of needing a cardigan or warm top all the time...it is August, right??

JackieG...how in Hades will a wooden spoon help my freezer....think its going to the big freezeryard in the sky or wherever, will not be replacing it, think that I am going down the dehydrating, canning and bottling route from now on. Glad that I am providing you with a laugh!

Hugs to all in need or want of one, sleep well and stay safe.

They have a weird system in our schools they take some GCSE,s at 15 then other,s at 16 - DD is a very young 15 and she was not really ready for them, I have given her lots of hugs and told her that next year it will be different, she,s a bright girl but it has really shaken her confidence - she,ll do fine desparatly wants to be a midwife and she,ll get there - thanks for all your kind words x
