Well done to both of them smiley-happy057.gif

NPM ((((((((Hugs)))))))) Is there anything outside that Noah likes to do such as a walk in the park to wear him out a bit

Well it has been hissing down all morning so no chance of doing any washing, lucky that I got all the towels done yesterday and they dried on the line.

DD has an interview this afternoon for a full time job with day time hours so positive vibes please girls x

Just going to have a pottering sort of day today and keep on top of the housework.

Scooter is on its last legs and it needs major work which will cost over £300 to repair:eek: so it looks like I need to save for a new one (which is only £50 more than the cost of repairing the old one) It is a fold up one that goes in the car and I will be lost without it because I won't be able to go to different shopping centres such as MK, St Albans or Hemel :( Oh well it has lasted for 4 years

Dinner tonight is sliced beef in gravy (HM) with HG new potatoes and HG runner beans and carrots.

Well must get on BFN x

Well done to all those who have already got their grades, and good luck to those who are still waiting. It's a nerve-wracking time for them and for the mums and dads, too! I remember it all too well.

Noah's Mum - hope you have as peaceful a day as possible.

Redruby - you sound so busy but it will all be worth it in the end!

Today, I am actually going to the hairdresser's. Well, she's a friend so it means getting my hair cut and having lots of cuppas! I haven't had it cut for about six months, so it's desperate. She'll be cutting DH's, too, then he'll stop looking so much like Frank Gallagher! It's not that bad but it's bad enough!

Dinner tonight is mince with onion gravy, pots, and cabbage and carrots; one of our favourites.

    Morning All

Just reading through and wanted to say well done to all on their exam results.

Its raining here, but spoke to ds2 who is at his grandma's and he said it is sunny there so jealous. Need to get myself moving the idea is that I get organised before I start work on the 5th Sept. Not got any motivation and when its raining I am even worse. Need to clean kitchen throughout today and try to sort out ds2 bedroom, try to move all the lego without breaking anything to pieces.

NPM - Hugs to you, Hope Noah calms down a bit, it must be so difficult.
Taplady - Hope your'e feeling better today.

Well I'd better get moving. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care and enjoy the rest of your day.

    Hello,

Well done to everyone who has posted on their families exam results, excellent news. I can't believe I got mine 12 years ago, feels like less than that when my sister took me to get them.

Having a really rubbish day at work everything is going wrong, roll on the end of the week.

Light in lounge is now sorted but electrician will be back next week to sort out heating/water issue good job we have a switch for hot water next to the water tank.

Not much O/S today, tied all the rooms upstairs yesterday and polished, OH will hoover and clean bathrooms tomorrow evening.

Might have fish and chips from town later will see if I can persuade OH to treat me (hehe!!)

    Take care all x

    afternoon!

Its blooming freezing, and by heck are the nights drawing in or as 11 year old said its not fair, its only august!!!!

Good luck to any one waiting there GCSE results!

Brilliant news d&dd, redruby, pp and uolypoll!:j:T:j:T

Meant to come back on on Tuesday but ended up running around like a nutter so i'm taking five minutes to have a breather. thanks for the hugs peeps.
A group of us met up the night for a couple of pints, me and OH only stayed for two and were home by 11.45pm. Luckily my friend / neighbour across looked after the lads, as i was let down yet again by my mum. But no matter it was good, we lit a lantern with messages on it and away it on.

Can't believe its been a year already, has passed so quickly.

Happy belated Birthday to Sammr and Evie!

mioliere what a nightmare with the redtape. bet the looks good :)

Not sure what were doing today, got bread rising at the mo so that's something at least :o.
Think i might make a corned beef and potato pie or pasties today. snips (ds2) is obsessed with them.

Hope noah settles for you, snips is a nightmare too when he bored / over tired. Its better for him to be at school as he needs a routine. He has autistim too. Is hard to keep going but i'm sure Noah will be fine:).
