    Morning all

Good luck to all the GCSE takers. My little brother will be collecting his today so I look forward to hearing how he has got on. I can't believe I collected mine 10 years ago! Well on my 16th birthday actually!

Well I am up and dressed, just. Had to change my trousers already as DS thought I should wear my tea! Need to get the 3 sproglets dressed and go to the bank now as my lovely Nan has sent us a cheque through for our holiday bless her. Should also take DS to go get his hair cut. I know its not very MSE or OS but as he has ASD I like him to get used to someone else doing his hair that he doesn't know and so he can get used to what happens when u sit in a certain chair iyswim? Also got lots of housework to get done today so that tomorrow I can concentrate on packing and making lots of lists (oh how I love a list!)

Dinner tonight is burgers which I said yesterdays dinner was but I forgot I had a chicken to use so we had a roast last night and I have some left over meat for a curry tomorrow night.

    Hugs and spoons to all

    Morning,

Hope everyone with results today gets what they want-our nephew is one of them,so fingers crossed. No doubt DSons will find out before we do from FB ;)

Not been on here much in the last few days, been painting the spare room pink,& DH has put up a wallpaper baby mural similar to jungle book,in pastel shades-it looks really good but was a bit tricky to put up as it comes in 12 pieces, and its better to get it all done at once-phew.His first piece has a few air bubbles in it,but its behind the door ;) He's a bit gung ho when it comes to wallpaper hanging :rotfl:
I've made a cot canopy-well it needs finishing off as I stapled it to check the effect and DS2s ex was desperate to see a piccie. She is panicking a bit about the crib he ordered nearly 2 months ago that still hasnt arrived. He keeps ringing to check,& they said the shipment is on the way from Europe-hope so.

I was so engrossed in painting that i hadnt realised the time when I got the call to say the menfolk were on the way home-luckily chicken breasts had thawed, but i had to resort to an emergency jar of sauce, and bunged it in the Remoska,& a packet of couscous :o

The oven was out of use as I was cleaning it ,and leaving the racks to stew in one of those bags (thanks BB:D)

PenPin- lovely to see you post, hope DD gets her results ok,& well done on her being accepted for OU-you must be really proud :)
NPM- hope the day improves for you & DS (& the cat)Lots of hugs x
Right, better get on-have good days all xx

    Morning all,
Didn't get on here y/day so haven't caught up. Out in the garden at 8 this morning just potering, have finished painting the old milk churn and weeded pots & borders. Packed BLT sarnies for DH's lunch, he is making a start on tiling DD1's bathroom. A pot of spicy carrot & tomato soup simmering nicely. WM finished and hanging out.
Having DGD2 today for a sleepover, I took her to Clarks Village y/day for new shoes. They cost £28  she's only 2yrs 5mths old.
Having ys lamb shanks for dinner tonight and ys melon & kiwi. Off to run the vacume around and catch up on here.
Good luck to all getting their results today.
((((( happy hugs ))))) to all who need one. Have a good day.
  • Hello all! Already sorted out my online banking today (Love payday!), and set my budget for my hols next week. Had to have yesterday off work due to the exhaust falling off my car (eek!), costing me £130 to get replaced. Having l/o cottage pie for lunch, and then sorting out clothes ready for my hol, leaving on Saturday.

Good luck to those getting their results, and well done to those who've had them :D

Sunny day here, walked to work but was a bit wobbley :rotfl:. I had acupuncture tonight so hopefully that'll help a bit.

No work kids today so I'm doing paperwork, assessing portfolios and looking for a new car ;). My brother has offered me the lend of his car for 6months when he goes travelling in Dec if he hasn't sold it. So that's something to consider. It's not the best car but if it works then it could be a short term solution.

It's my Dad's birthday today, just rung him to say happy birthday. He doesn't do birthdays so it's just another day to him. I've just ordered him some theatre tokens as a present, hoping they'll come tomorrow when I'll see him.

OS wise - not much :o. made packed lunch this morning. My nan is takign me to acupuncture so I'm hoping to have tea at hers, or we'll go to the chippy.

    Have a good day all
