KJ - sorry I've not stopped by for a bit. I'm truly sorry to hear about Toby. A friend's cat also got really very poorly from lillies also. Rainbow Ridge is truly a tuna filled paradise for any feline.
Hope the treatment is going as it should be. Each day of treatment is one less to do. Keep the finish line in sight and try not to get overwhelmed by the journey ahead.

Hello all.
Well the anti-sickness pump is working a treat, just a few top ups and we're grand. Morphine now slow release and extra for bad periods - like tonight for some reason.
Had out of hours out to visit and they sorted me out no problems.
Compared with 18 months ago it's a completely different experience. I can do this.
My two biggest challenges now are memory loss and tiredness. Think I may be napping through til my birthday. On a positive note this diary can help me track what I'm up to and what needs to be done. My memory's always been pretty good and if I did forget, say that the bank was phoning at 2, I'd hear the phone ring, look at my watch, think "bu&&er bank" and that would be that.
Now phone rings. I sit bolt upright in couch where I've been dozing with a cold cup of tea in my hand for last 3 hours. Soak laptop. Panic that ringing noise is smoke detector. Eventually answer phone and deny I have a bank account.

(((hugs))) from me too ... so glad you've got your pain relief sorted as it's horrible being in pain
I'm afraid I chuckled at the memory loss - I'm exactly the same!
I'm getting slightly better now that I've had my meds changed but before ... OMG - I could be 1/2 way through a sentence and forget what I was talking about! (I actually did this when I had a work Occ Health review so they realised I did really mean it when I said my short term memory was terrible!)
