First step's the hardest because you're acknowledging that something doesn't feel right. You've done that now which is brave and terrifying in equal measure.

Truly here if you need to talk or vent, sometimes sharing with those closest is hard as you don't want them to worry.

Well the cocktail of morphine and sleeping tablet did the trick. Slept like a drug-addled baby :j

I feel incredibly relaxed still but leaving for hospital in a minute. Then the heebie geebies will return.

I can do this...just need to relax, trust them and find my happy place.

On a more mundane note, my hair needs done, the grey is shimmering through. Feel too tight to colour it and watch it all fall out next month. That's very bad :rotfl::rotfl:

Hello, all done. :j:j:j

Got there at 12:20 for a 12:30 appointment and got released into the care of the community at 6pm.

Have to be honest and say it didn't hurt but I found it quite hard and it was very hot and I started feeling sick. But hey ho it's done. Locals haven't completely worn off yet so it slightly uncomforable but nothing more.

Need to have dressing changed tomorrow and we need to find someone in East Lothian qualified to care for lines otherwise I'll have to go back to the Western weekly.

Also back on blood thinners, every day until surgery. I've volunteered to do them myself so I had to demonstrate for the nurse. Got 10/10 :D

The nurses also checked for appointments and my name's not on the chemo list yet.

I will say again Miss KJ you are an amazing woman... How is it this stormy evening... Well we are staying with DS at the moment.. he lives in our house, and has just crashed his car, total write off on black ice, so father is ferrying him and gf and me everywhere..:rotfl:
So we have decided to bottom the house and garden... DH nearly sliced off his finger with secatares (sp) in garden ... and I nearly fell of the ladder cleaning windows....:) But laid in the bath with a glass of wine and candles ... simple but wonderful...
