He was tall, buff, stubbly beard and real melty eyes. Couldn't see his hair as he was in scrubs. Very nice boy though. Bet the Yanks wouldn't believe what we get on the NHS:j:j:j:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0

Well I slept well last night with visions of a real MacDreamy :rotfl:
Of to the health centre later to get the dressings changed. District nurses is going to pop in on Wednesday to do the line maintenance.
Still no chemo date. I've to phone the ward tomorrow to check if it's on yet. Suggestion is I keep doing that.
Very little discomfort from the line...feels bruised and tender which isn't surprising but no pain as such.
One of my amazing team is coming down tomorrow at lunchtime to help me draft up a handover pack for work. Then she's coming back on Monday afternoon with the boss and we'll close everything off. I'm expecting Monday therefore to be my last day.
Part of me is so sad and part is very relieved. I'm not up to standard working hours at the moment so far rather leave while people are things good things about me.
I will be back after the treatment but for the moment it's just me me me.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Glad you have maintainance sorted for your line and that the line isn't giving you any trouble.
Think it's right that you give up work at the minute and just think about you.Hopefully your chemo will be on soon0 -
Hi Taxi,
Spoke to GP on Tuesday and she agreed as well. Be nice to have some kickback time.
SB's just had a letter from the college saying where's his SASS (?) award notice. If he doesn't have one he'll be liable for his £1295 fees.
Seems he didn't apply because I wasn't ill or on benefits so we wouldn't qualify. He's now talking to his support lecturer at the College. He's a Scot, resident in Scotland, he definitely qualifies. Hope its not too late!!

These little things are meant to try. I should be chuffed that he thought it was wrong to claim and so he didn't. C'est la vie :A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0
