Let's look on positive. Too bleugh to go out so NSD.
We're going to go out on Wednesday after work. SB will get bus into town and we'll go and see White House Down. I swapped some Tesco vouchers for Pizza Express and I've a £10 F&B voucher so MSE dinner either way.:T
I've been using a spending diary app on my phone which does make think twice.
Got an email from agency and 1st salary should hit business account on Monday or Tuesday. Only 4 days money but symbolically it's much more significant. Means I'm back earning.:j:j:j
Still haven't had one red cent of SSP. Don't know what's going on with HMRC. I'll follow up with accountant again. If shoe was on the other foot they'd be threatening court action by now :A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Decided to go for a bath after a decidedly bleugh day. SB informs me it's full of last nights bath water as the plug was stuck (it's one of those ones which goes up and down ). No probs thought I, even I've enough oomph to move a plug.
Long story short, no I've not
So phoned dear friend whose hubby is a plumber and asked if he could pop by tomorrow or Wednesday. Next thing I now he's here so I can have a bath. That's made my day. Will have the bath tomorrow:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Bleugh didn't go away all night so still bed.
Not enjoying this very much. It feels horribly like the sickness is back for a while. Projects still trucking along so hope I've a job for a while longer.
Sorry, not a very positive post.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

hi Beanie and DFW.
Up and showered but bleugh is returning. I've stuff I must do for tomorrow so planning on nap and then some work.
I have no idea how long this will last. Damage to my tissue can't be reversed so body has to find a way to cope. The current mix of pain and nausea is a failing score and it will receive an "under performing" grade if it doesn't buck up its ideas.
That's me told then...hope I listen :rotfl::A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Ok I didn't get back to work but have ordered nephew's 21st presents from us and Grandad. Brother-to-whom-we-do-not-speak sent up a wish list of very dark Russian films and Japanese books. Also a list of where Grandad should go to in Edinburgh to purchase same as not that mainstream.
Anyway, I've done it via Amazon and they should be with us in plenty time to post down south.
I need to get off this guilt treadmill. Ok had carp day today but going to try again tomorrow. No billing for today so they're not paying but still feel bad about inconvenience and potentially mucking people about. On the other hand I could resign and wallow in self-pity and panic about making ends meet. So lets try again tomorrow and hope this ends at some point or I become better at spotting a pattern. I'm not convinced having another month or 6 months off would make a real difference. I think this is "it" now and I need to cope best I can.
Psychologist has suggested I need to think about what I do if it recurs again as I may have to stop working at that point. So scary on so many levels that one. Makes me feel I have to get as much cash accumulated as possible in case that does happen so need to work as much as possible which will make me sicker...bit of a vicious cycle.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. you do worry me doing too much...perhaps you need to compromise and only work part time..after all your health is important...
am with you on pain and nausea as been like that this last week or so too0 -
Pants to the pain which means we take drugs which make us feel sick...and repeat.
Well was in work for 7:30 and worked thru till 4:45 then hopped to cinema to meet SB and watch White Hose Down. It's was explosions galore, suited me down to the ground. Into F&B for 20% off dinner. Really felt good being out and chatting to the boy. I get a lot of joy from being with him.
Working from home Thursday and Friday. Need to take legal advice on two evictions...this is going to hurt financially but neither have paid a penny since Christmas. Scum doesn't do them justice:mad::mad::A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Taxi - I'm not in a job that encourages part time. Other issue is what I would work as I never know when I'll be ill.
So sorry you got the pain and sickness thing too.
Have they said anything re timescales or causes to you?:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0
