Beanie - Chair yoga sounds fab...I want to make sure that the scars don't tighten too much and my range of motion is diminished.

Taxi - seeing onco at end of July and I'll find out then. They're still waiting on the Oestrogen receptor results which will determine whether or not Tamoxifen is worthwhile. She said they may try it regardless and see how I tolerate it. If I've bad side effects then it won't be worth them for the limited / zero value of taking it.

How about you...do you have anything further lined up?

Well the flat the tenant just upped and left is trashed. He's changed the locks so we had to break into our own property. That's another huge bill in the making. According to the house clearing people there's hash growing kit there too...bar steward.

  • Yoga sounds great I hope it's a help :) I used to love yoga a few years back...not done it recently though!

As for tenants causing mess :( can only hope karma catches them all up!!! I hope it's not too much of a bill to get it all back to normal again. Perhaps the hash growing kit might fetch a good price on ebay help with costs ;)

Spoke to tenant on phone earlier. He says council had no right to tell me he'd left as he hadn't arranged transport for his stuff yet!! So he takes a month to find a van and I've to cover his rent...some folk have a brass neck. I've told him he has 24 hours to organise transport, after that we're clearing the place. Lets see if that concentrates his mind.

All the filing is done and the emails cleared from 904 to 4.

Bills are paid and VAT return done...it's zero but has to lodged.

    Jobs remaining are

    1) End of year return for consultancy company
    2) End of year return for property
    3) Sort out mad tenant who writes letters in red ink and marks the envelopes that we've breached her human rights
    4) Sort out hash-man flat. Lots of letters to council coming up I feel.

On a plus side I can see my hair coming back...it's a dark fuzz but it's there.

I think it's because they pay nothing towards the property. Council has a deposit scheme, which they are never asked to pay back if they lose it, and benefits cover the rent. They can just up and walk and their benefit follows them regardless of any contractual agreements.

Had a bad night last night. They drained a fluid build up on my back on Wednesday and for some reason that started to really, really hurt about 2am. Everytime I breathed in it was like a knife going into that spot. So heavily loaded up with painkiller, Tramdol at 2am, Oramorph and 3am, Solpedine at 4am together with a sleeping tablet. Sometime after that it worked enough to put me to sleep til 10:30 this morning.

Now feeling a bit sluggish and sleepy, not how I want to feel on my birthday.:o

I've tickets booked to see Despicable Me this evening with SB. We both lurve the minions...I need some of them around here.

Did have a tasty bran scone for brekkie. My handyman for the flats always buys rolls and scones on a Saturday for this family and next door. I've now been added to the exalted list and wake up every Saturday to a carrier bag on the front door handle. He won't take a penny so I'll have to think of something nice to do for him.
