It was lovely coming home to SB, husky and kittens. Grandad managed to wind up my visitors...He seriously thinks being 85 is a golden ticket to opening his mouth and saying anything :mad::mad:
Glad that you are out of hospital. Maybe Grandad is just relieved your are out of hospital, so is reacting by letting his tongue run away with him? Or else he is just a bit of a git.....
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Chev, its definitely the latter...complete old git. I haven't got anything for Father's Day tomorrow, it'll have to be a last minute box of sweets from the Co-op. Don't mind going out bald or with syringe driver by 2 drains full of blood isn't pleasant for other folks to come into contact with.
On the plus side I'll be as free as a bird in two days time. No more bits sticking out yah!!:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
I am official tube free (except the Hickman and that doesn't count).
I was pretty apprehensive about having the stuff out but in the end the nurses were great as always.
So now I'm a free woman. See consultant next week for post-op check up but not sure what I'm meant to do now. I suppose I need to let this heal for a bit...with the holes in my side I look like I've been shot :rotfl::A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Well the kitchen's clean and the washing up to date, just need to put it away now.
Fajhitas for dinner which has filled up SB.
Fridge half of fridge / freezer stopped working on Sunday so repair scheduled for Friday. Trying to use up what's in the freezer so I can turn the whole thing off tomorrow as requested. Strange egg fried rice wasn't too pleasant but it's been dealt with now:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. How are you feeling after Legoland?:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Tried my hand at driving yesterday. Went to visit a friend in respite about 15 miles away. Exhausted with the drive and then two hours sitting but another box ticked on the recovery road map.
Been geocaching today with SB and the husky aka Geodog. Managed a mile or so before I really felt it so went for some lunch and a sit in the park.
Psycho cat's ashes were ready to be collected from the vet, so her final vengence was a bill for £87 quid.
Kittens are growing at speed. Still gorgeous and very cuddly though :j:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
